I ultimately enjoyed my stay. The breakfast is good, and the gym limited but effective and convenient. The staff were absolutely delightful!! Always polite and accommodating.

Dieses Hotel hat uns alles geboten, was man bei einem Hotelaufenthalt nicht erleben möchte. Bei Anreise gab die Möglichkeit das Fahrzeug selbst in den Nebenstraßen zu parken oder vom Hotel parken zu lassen (50€ pro 24 Stunden). Hierbei gab es zunächst Verständigungsprobleme, die aufgrund der miserablen Laune des Mitarbeitenden in einem ruppigen Tonfall und einer unangenehmen Art und Weise mündeten. Beim Einchecken haben wir dann die zwei bewaffneten Sicherheitskräfte beobachtet können, wobei einer an der Rezeption mit dem Handy in der Hand saß und sich wenig um die Sicherheit gekümmert hat und eine weitere Person, die wohl auch eher im Pausemodus war und gerade einen Lunch in der hinteren Ecke des Hotels zu sich nahm. Als wir die Umgebung am frühen Abend erkundet haben, trafen wir wir auf Jugendliche mit Waffen. Insgesamt haben wir die Umgebung als eher unsicher wahrgenommen. In der Nacht konnten wir aus dem Zimmer Schüsse hören und haben uns dazu entschieden vorzeitig abzureisen. Beim Auschecken hat man uns zugesichert, die Nächte zu erstatten. Im Nachgang wurde dies dann verwehrt. Expedia hat hier aus eigener Initiative eine andere Entschädigung angeboten und muss als Vermittler in dieser Situation selbst gelobt werden. Das Zimmer selbst war ok. Es war ein Doppelbett in einem riesigen Raum und insgesamt wenig gemütlich, weder vom Bett als auch von der Atmosphäre. Das Buffet wurde kaum nachgefüllt und entsprach für US amerikanische Standards eher dem unteren Niveau.

Only 1 working elevator. The blinds in our room were broken. One wouldn't open, the other wouldn't shut. We went down for breakfast at 9 and they couldn't keep up with clean silverware or dishes. The food was also wasn't keeping up with the demand

When we got there it was 2:55pm. I was told by the front desk staff that we had to leave and come back after 3pm to check in. He wouldn't check is in 5 minutes early because he was leaving. When we were able to check in, the gentleman working at the front desk was super helpful and friendly. There was a female security guard working there that was super sweet and helped us unload our bags. We later left to do some sightseeing. When we returned, I parked using the valet services since there's limited parking around the area. The valet is only available 7am-11:30pm and we needed to leave the next morning by 5am. The valet guys said it would be no problem, they would bring our car down and park it in front of the hotel that morning and leave the keys with the front desk. The next morning, there was no car and no keys. The guy working at the front desk said he could show me where the car was parked so I could get it myself. It was quite a ways away and lots of homeless people outside. I am a female traveling with two children and had to walk quite a distance in the dark, retrieve my car, and drive back to the hotel to return the garage exits key card to the hotel staff. Extremely inconvenient and unsafe. Overall, the property was nice and clean. Also convenient to local sightseeing.
