“Very nice little house and good stay”

“Have rented 2 prior locations and this was the best. Clean pleasant great location and was very surprised to see soap provided as well as coffee ...and so much more. I very much liked we had 2 separate bedrooms with doors! and 2 bathrooms. I was able to wash clothes and it was quiet! Great walking location. I would have loved to have stayed a week. Bed was very comfy.”

“We needed an interesting place to visit that was not a big city. We wanted a nice relaxing environment. St Genevieve and the 1801 House met our expectations. The hosts thought of everything their guests would need. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. I will recommend this property to others.”

“We booked this beautiful home for our son and daughter-in-laws baby shower. The home is immaculate with every convenience you would need. The backyard has a big deck and overlooks a gorgeous rock wall with a creek running through so there's lots of wildlife. We would absolutely stay here again.”

“We held our family Christmas here. 13 people, 7 adults and 6 children. We spent 6 days here. People played pool, ping pong, games, swam and we grilled outside. This house has everything you would in your own home! One day I hosted our huge family gathering of 40+people, plenty of room, it was nice outside and inside and once again everything is provided at the house. I would recommend this house to everyone. This property was well stocked and the hosts were easy to get in touch with. Would recommend staying here if you find yourself in Ste Genevieve!”

“We really enjoyed our stay at this home. Everything was as listed and more. Very clean and organized. The decor was perfect and not too cluttered. The location was central to everything we wanted to do for our long weekend getaway. Close to downtown Perryville as well as local area wineries and attractions. Host was exceptionally accommodating, but once we checked in we didn’t have any additional needs because everything was covered. We will definitely stay there again when we travel to the……

“This was an excellent place to stay. It was clean, spacious enough for 3, and in a beautiful neighborhood. It was close to many things. We really enjoyed the patio in the evenings! I would highly recommend Dewey Cottage.”

“We enjoyed the 2024 total Solar Eclipse from the front of the property. It was a perfect place to enjoy it. No crowds no issues. We went on a hike at Pickle Springs Nature Area after the event. Farmington is near by to drop in and grab some food or coffee. Perfect place for the two days to get away from it all.”
