“The owner was SO accommodating. We had an early morning to get to Cumberland. She got up early and got our breakfast prepared before the other boarders. Walking distance to many things. Very cozy and nicely decorated. The bed in the Lucy and Ricky room was the best I've had.”

“At first glance it looks nice but when we drove over to the room there was mattresses lined up against a wall it looked like they were renovating or something. The bed and sheets were clean but when I walked barefoot on the floor it was very sandy. No hot water in the bathroom sink. I guess you get what you pay for. We did not stay for breakfast so I'm sorry no review for that.”

“The staff were very polite and accommodating! It was so peaceful and quiet at night they didn’t have an issue with us swimming at night which was very nice! The pool was well kept and the patio/grill area was great. The rec room was also nice. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing evening! Ac was working very well also!”

“This was a beautiful historical home, centrally located. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived and loved the tour of the home. The room, bed, and amenities were great, with the best breakfast!”

“For a premier location and price this Hampton was a huge disappointment. Room was old, worn out, sink and tub did not drain well, kitchen area was old, dishwasher was falling out of the cabinet, and hallways looked like something out of the ‘80s. I’ve stayed in dozens and dozens of Hampton Inns over my work career, but this place ranks as the worst. Location is amazing on Centre Street where all the action is, but take my advice and find another hotel or inn.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay. Our king room on the first floor was very comfortable, spotless, had a large bathroom, and even a little back deck. The historic property was beautifully restored and clearly very well cared for by innkeeper Veronica and her team. Veronica's gourmet breakfasts were a huge treat, different every morning, and served with attention to every detail in the elegant dining room. Veronica was happy to share suggestions on activities and restaurants in the area.……
