“Was not a good hotel really. Thought we’d stop Off rather than drive home. Was dated yes staff friendly on the desk. Went up to room looked like someone left drop turd on floor at end of the bed. I walked straight back out and handed keys back. I’d rather do The 150 miles than stay in that room. Some people say it’s nice, that’s ok if you drink. “Staff in the restaurant/spa bar/spa were really helpful and pleasant. The indoor pool was great. Sadly we didn't get to use the outdoor pool as it rained but it did look very nice. View from our room was lovely too. We booked breakfast on one day but found it too much after dinner the previous night. We ate at taste of Cornwall one night. The food was very good but the room was very dark and the music stopped a couple of times and nobody around to turn it back on, so lacked a nice ambience.”
