Short Trip , Great Stay

Property was very clean upon arrival and organized as well. If you are planning your trip to be beachside, this is a perfect spot! It's located in a very quiet and nice neighborhood. Unfortunately, our group was not able to fully experience everything Indian Rocks Beach has to offer, but will be looking to reserve this place when we decide to come back out this way. Peter, the host, was quick with his responses as well and checking-in was a breeze.

Adequate, but not as advertised

First let me say Peter is a great guy and aims to please. The unit is more than adequate, especially for a group. However, there are a few things that are not precisely accurate. First, this property is not suitable for any seniors, anyone of any age with mobility issues, or small children due to the way the stairs to get inside are situated and constructed and the lack of a good railing. They are challenging to navigate, especially with your bags. So keep that in mind. Otherwise, no problem. Also, the location is excellent but you CANNOT see the intercoastal from the balcony like the listing says because the tree in the front would need to be seriously trimmed in order to do so or cut down entirely, which I do not condone but just thought I would mention it. I thought it was clean and well-maintained although quite spartan in decor (men!!). It is a large enough space for a group -- but beware there are NO plastic cups (why do rentals do that?) and no cooler that functions and no beach wagon or bike included like many/most other places have. If you're driving and bring all that stuff with you, great....but I had to rent a bike from Sea Gypsy and buy a new cooler and a new travel cup just so I could take my coffee across the street to look at the water in the mornings.
