Wonderful holiday property, great heated pool & well stocked with plenty of kitchen utensils/crockery & cutlery. Only negative really was that the grass surrounding pool area could have been shorter. As previous reviews the location details are misleading they relate to St Remy de Provence which is approx 10 min drive away.

Beautiful villa in lovely village

We really enjoyed this villa and it was fun to eat both inside and out. We made pizzas and oven was great. Pool was perfect for 6 year old who learnt to swim and 2,year old to splash on steps and get water confident Easy walk to village with bakery and vegetables and three lovely restaurants within 10 minutes walk Air conditioning was good as very hot but would have been better in each bedroom Really recommend

A month in Provence

We stayed 1 month and were very happy w the accommodations. (Beware of low ceilings and short door in 2 upper bedrooms.)Great location for many Provence towns and highlights. Located in beautiful peaceful village short drive from San Remy. Very secure property, lots of space, very responsive property manager. We could have used complete instructions on how to reset the A/C. The house got hot during warm weather. Overall, great experience!!

Fantastic family holiday

This was one of the best properties we’ve stayed in, in France. There were 6 adults 2 under 5’s and 2 babies. Everyone enjoyed the pool and garden. The house was big enough for us all to enjoy different activities. The restaurant in the village is very nice as is the bar. It’s a great place to explore the area. Very well equipped and excellent correspondence from the owner. Try the local vineyards as well. We cycled to one of them Definitely recommend this property

Fantastic and very enjoyable 2 week stay!

Fabulous family house. Spacious for 10 of us - 6 adults 4 children (3 generations) Well equipped indoors and outwith plenty of things for the children and family to do - great swimming pool, table football, table tennis and pétanque. Beautiful large garden. Warm welcome from Valerie and Corinne. Some mugs/ glassware rather mismatched and tired. More larger size glasses would have been useful. Lastly, Saint Remy heading is misleading. Property is actually in St Etienne du Gres. Despite this we had a wonderful holiday in the house and would definitely return!

Fantastic house!

We had a really great stay here. The weather was hot, but the a/c in the lower house and hallway upstairs helped a great deal. The pool and garden area is a great place to be, and we made good use of the bbq and pizza oven. We wanted a place where we could relax together, and didn't feel the urge to do any day trips, other than make use of the bikes and walk into the village. Valerie was very helpful, despite our poor French, and everything was as advertised. Would recommend this great house in a lovely area!

An awesome week overall & we are very seriously thinking of rebooking next year!

THE PROS Lovely villa with beautiful garden. Quiet & peaceful. Great aspect with sun on patio right through until sundown. Great proximity to village with baker & wine shop. Couple of good sized hypermarkets within a 5-10 minute drive. Outdoor area worked really well with bar seating close by the BBQ - other villas we have stayed at have the BBQ quite a distance away, so this was much more sociable. Pool was heated & clean with an overnight robot cleaner - could maybe have done with being heated 1 degree higher though! Nespresso coffee machine & build-in water chiller/ice maker in the fridge was huge bonus. THE CONS Was adequately clean when we arrived, but no more than that. Would have expected better from the cleaner based on the amount charged for the week. Lots of high level dust/cobwebs & some hair in shower traps. We went over a lot of surface with anti Covid wipes to be super safe & were surprised when quite a few of those wipes came up rather grey. Interior of the villa a little bit tired perhaps, but made very little difference when we spent most of our time in the lovely outside! Kitchen equipment a bit limited and dated, but not insurmountable. BBQ tools could definitely have done with being updated. Odd quantities of things eg. loads of plates, but very few glasses. We even ended up buying our own wine glasses & water glasses for the week as we preferred to drink out of glassware larger than thimbles! OVERALL An awesome week overall & we are very seriously thinking of rebooking next year!

Wonderful family holiday

Amazing house, pool and gardens. Wonderful accommodation on the ground floor for elderly parents. Table tennis and boules provided friendly family competitions. Well maintained pool was well used each day.

Urlaub im Herzen der Provence

Als fünfköpfige reiseerfahrene Männergruppe haben wir ein ideal für Ausflüge in die Umgebung gelegenes, großzügiges Domizil vorgefunden. Ausstattung sehr gut. Sauberkeit in Ordnung.Ein anfängliches Missverständnis bezüglich der hinterlegten Reinigungskaution konnte bei Abreise dank Mme. Pakita geklärt werden. Wir hatten eine erholsame Urlaubswoche in der Provence.

Het was een leuke plaats om te verblijven. We hebben er van genoten. Het huis ligt vlakbij het dorpscentrum en de bakker, beenhouwer en restaurants zijn te voet bereikbaar. Het zwembad is ideaal voor de kleinkinderen. Voor herhaling vatbaar!

Maison très spacieuse et pièces très bien isolées les unes des autres. Beau harfin bien équipé

St Étienne du grès bien situé près d’Avignon, très beau palais des papes , Arles , plutôt décevant , les. Baux de Provence Maison au bord des splendides Alpilles ( superbes randonnées ) La Camargue et le parc ornithologique où on voit de près de multiples oiseaux , notamment beaucoup de flamants roses , dans un cadre très joliment aménagé Ne pas rater le somptueux spectacle des Carrières de Lumières Jolie petite ville de Tarascon , tout près et où on peut se ravitailler

Super Unterkunft

Wir haben eine Woche Ende Oktober/Anfang November mit Kindern und Enkelkindern in dieser schönen Villa verbracht. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt: die Kinder waren gut beschäftigt mit Tischtennis, Tischkicker, Boule und ein wenig Baden im (kalten) Pool, und die Erwachsenen haben sich ihnen angeschlossen oder auf den Liegen entspannt. Es war kein Problem das Haus zu heizen und auch die Zudecken auf den Betten waren- trotz sehr kühler Nächte- vollkommen ausreichend. Die Lage des Hauses ist ruhig, aber es lassen sich viele Ziele z.B. Arles, Avignon, Les Baux uvm.innerhalb kurzer Zeit erreichen. Groß und Klein haben die Zeit in der Villa rundum genossen.

Sehr schönes Haus mit allem Komfort

Wir haben zwei Wochen in diesem schönen Haus verbracht. Die Lage ist perfekt, um die Gegend zu erkunden und das Haus bietet mit seiner tollen Ausstattung und dem großen Pool (inklusive Sonnenliegen), schönem Garten mit Boulebahn, Tischtennisplatte und dem Tischkicker jede Menge Komfort und Spaß für die ganze Familie. Endroit très calme, très bonne literie, équipement très complet, les jeunes, et les moins jeunes, se sont "éclatés" avec les jeux. Très bon point de départ pour le tourisme dans la région. A recommander sans aucun doute. J'y retournerai très volontiers cet été.

Sehr schönes Haus, toller Pool

Wir waren 14 Tage mit der Familie hier. Das Haus ist sehr schön, wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Leider gibt es nicht in jedem Schlafzimmer eine Klimaanlage, aber ansonsten war alles prima: Ausstattung, Betten (die zum Glück größer sind als angegeben) und besonders der Pool. Auch der Empfang war herzlich und unkompliziert. Im nahen Saint Remy gibt es viele schöne Restaurants.

Tolles Haus in guter Lage

Wir haben mit Freunden eine Woche in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbracht. Das Haus ist wirklich so wie es im Inserat dargestellt wird und eignet sich hervorragend, um Urlaub mit mehreren Menschen zu verbringen. Das Dorf ist fußläufig gut zu erreichen und neben einer Bäckerei gibt es einige kleine Geschäfte sowie eine nette Bar/ Café . Ein größerer Supermarkt ist in ca. 3 km. Wer gerne kocht, wird die Outdoor-Küche mit Grill und Pizzaofen sicherlich genießen. Der Pool im Garten ist sehr gepflegt wie der gesamte Garten auch. Das Haus eignet sich gut für Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung wie Avignon, Arles oder St. Remy. Ein paar scharfe Messer und Schneidebretter täten der Küchenausstattung gut, wir nehmen diese Sachen allerdings immer aus Erfahrung selber mit. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

A surprisingly large house with modern amenities stone floors and air conditioning easily capable of accommodating eight people.A large garden barbecue area with pizza oven and heated pool make outdoor living a pleasure.Local shops and restaurant and bar are less than a five minute stroll away.All in all an ideal base to explore the wonders of The Alpilles and neighbouring region
