This is our second stay at this property and is our favorite hotel. The Abbaye is in a beautiful location with log views down to Marseilles and the premises, services and setting are impeccable; staff friendly and attentive. Scheduled and enjoyed a massage without any fuss or problem. Dinners were delicious and the hotel has easy access to nearby Salon-de-Provence, a charming town with tree-lined streets and fine restaurants. An excellent walking town. This is what the romance of Provence is all about. I

An amazing place. There was a mix up with our room so they offered a different much better room. The only down side is the breakfast, it’s the same every day and doesn’t have enough variety. The cheese and the bread are particularly disappointing, supermarket quality.

Fantastisk gammal byggnad med charmig atmosfär och en terrass med milsvid utsikt där man äter frukost och middag. Trevlig personal. Långa personer får akta sig för att slå i huvudet i de låga valven.

This place has an unbeatable view and comfortable rooms with private outdoor space. We were unlucky with the pool being under maintenance in the early part of the season, which was disappointing, but happens. Dinner was excellent and the seasonal cocktail was delicious; eating on property is not for budget travelers.

The property was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were whimsical. We weren't thrilled with the restaurant. The food wasn't very good. We thought it was strange seeing the rolls out on the tables before people were seated. Our dining experience was extremely long almost 3 hours. It was a bit painful. The staff was mixed. Some great, some seemed like they might be new. Would have been nice to have help with luggage as some of the rooms have very steep stairs. Can't beat the view

Nestled in a mountain hideaway, Garrigae was a dream. With a majestic vista, the vast property transported us back in time. Our room, St. Luc offered us everything we needed, including luxurious and plush bath towels and a balcony overlooking magical fields of green. All staff members were friendly, responsive, and accommodating. The choices of coffee and the ability to squeeze our own juice were lovely touches. We hope to return. Emily &Dennis

I was delayed to my hotel by several hours and was past check-in. I called the staff and they helpfully left a key to my room and printed out several signs directing me to the romantic "St. Valentin" room. The hotel is a 12th century monastery and every room is named after a Catholic Saint. I booked it as a surprise high-end property for my wife for our honeymoon and everything about it impressed her and gave us relaxing mornings, and a quiet place to crash after exploring provence. The food was fantastic, the views were breathtaking, and the memories will last forever.
