Wonderful old house in fantastic location

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this house. It has everything you need and is just a 15 minute walk into St Remy. Lots of places to visit, great restaurants and wonderful walks close by with the dog. The host is very hands off which suits us. The 4 weeks there passed quickly and our dogs had free run of the enclosed outside area.

Perfect Stay

Over all perfect. Nice little house with all the stuff you need. cosy and calm. Eric was always to reach by phone. pool small but very clean. About 5 min to walk to the city center. I think we will come back again.

This farmhouse has charm and character, comfort and lovely environs.

We were three friends having a remarkable good time either hanging out at the farmhouse or going into town on foot. This is prime sight seeing. The market is great. Biking is great here. The furnishings are comfortable. If the kitchen is a little funky, get with the mood of the place. I would not change anything. The host is very responsive. I made the mistake of NOT asking him to meet me a place where he could lead me to the Mas. Getting to the property was a terrible experience even with GPS and it is so near to town! No addresses or street marking in town so the locals have to verify the street.

My stay here was heavenly…almost. There were so many great things about this stay, but just a few things that stopped it short of perfect.Pros: - The pool. I enjoyed this so much more than I thought I would! It was so refreshing and lovely, especially at the end of a long hot day. - Location. As others have noted, it’s just a few minutes from Saint Remy either on foot or by car. Saint Remy is just the right mix of lively but not too busy, and it’s very charming. Easy access to villages like Gordes, etc, too.- Private grounds. So many of the other rentals I looked at had shared grounds. Having the whole garden area to myself made the stay incredibly peaceful. - big comfy couch!- the place is well stocked.Cons:- The beds. I had a really hard time sleeping. The mattress in the main room is thin and there’s a big vertical bar that runs down the middle of the bed frame, which I could feel when I rolled over. The matress in the other room is thicker but hard and stiff.- the lawn (or lack of it). One of the main reasons I chose this place was that I wanted a nice grassy yard for my dog to run around in. Unfortunately, the little stones that in the pictures form a border around the grass now cover the whole yard. There is no grass at all and the stones are very sharp and pointy and brutal on doggy (and human!) feet! - the stairs are so much steeper than they look, and there is only a rope for railing. The top step in particular is very high.

Es ist ein niedliches altes Haus,ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen,aber charmant.Da es an einer Kreuzung liegtist es schon mal ein wenig lauter,aber es stört kaum.In der Küche ist alles da,nur die Spüle hätte eine Erneuerung nötig.Der Pool ist klein,aber zum Erfrischen ideal.Das dritte Zimmer ist nur für Kinder gut geeignet.Schöne Spaziergänge am nahen Kanal sind super.

Séjour une semaine

Nous avons passé une semaine sur place, la maison est charmante. Les chambres sont relativement spacieuses. Le jardin est bien ombragé. Il faut compter environ 12 à 15 minutes à pied pour aller jusqu’au Bourg. L’endroit est calme. Le bassin est suffisamment grand pour pouvoir se rafraîchir. la cuisine est spacieuse la petite terrasse Permet de déjeuner de dîner et de prendre le petit déjeuner. Il n’y a pas de vis-à-vis dans le jardin devis l’équipement de la maison est très correct. Si nous avons l’occasion nous y retournerons.

Très agréable séjour en famille

Idéalement situé, le mas a un vrai charme et dispose d'un extérieur très agréable. La propreté de la vaisselle était toutefois moyenne.L'equipement est assez complet malgré l'absence de plats pour le four.

Ein sehr schönes Mas mit herrlichen Garten

Wir haben die beiden Wochen sehr genossen, das historische Haus hat alles war im Urlaub nötig ist und liegt nahe des Zentrums von Saint Rémy. Durch den mit bewachsenen Mauern abgeschlossen Garten, ist das Maison ideal auch für den Urlaub mit Hund. Das Maison liegt ideal zwischen Avignon und Arles. Die nahegelegenen „Les Alpilles“ sind ideal für lange Wanderungen im Pinienwald. Merci Beaucoup Eric für die Möglichkeit an diesem schönen Platz Urlaub machen zu können. Wir wollen gerne wiederkommen !

Mas rustique très bien situé mais confort à revoir

Le mas est très bien situé à l'entrée de St-Rémy à 1km du centre. - Pas accueilli lors de l'arrivée (uniquement par téléphone) alors que des explications sur le fonctionnement de la villa sont importants et éventuellement des conseils sur les activités et restos dans les environs sont toujours les bienvenus. - 2 transats dont 1 cassé pour 4 personnes (villa prévue pour 6 pers). - pas d'herbe près de la piscine pour s'allonger mais seulement des cailloux. - impossible de manger à l'extérieur car pas d'auvent pour couvrir la table et plein de petites crasses tombent en permanence dessus. - évier de la cuisine s'émaille - cuisine équipée du nécessaire (cafetière, bouilloire, micro-onde,grille-pain) - literie médiocre dans les chambres - climatiseur dans le corridor de l'étage, ce qui nous oblige à dormir la porte de la chambre ouverte pour avoir un peu d'air frais et à se lever pendant la nuit pour vider l'eau qui coule de l'appareil. - plus d'eau chaude après 5 jours. - région avec beaucoup de moustiques en été--> prévoyez des moustiquaires.

superbe location pour repos et visites

Nous avons adoré l'emplacement, la localisation au calme et à la fois proche du centre (10' à pieds) de St Rémy. L'annonce est très fiable sur la description. La maison est bien équipée et sécurisée pour jeunes enfants. Nous recommandons chalheureusement.

Superbe mas à proximité de St Rémy

Mas avec beaucoup de caractère et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. On s'y sent très bien. Très calme et à proximité du centre de St Rémy. Nous avons apprécié de pouvoir prendre quelques repas dehors. Bonne literie. Belles randonnées à faire au départ de St Rémy. Très agréable semaine passée dans cette belle région.

Une parfaite escapade festive et ensoleillée

Eric notre hôte son d’une profonde gentillesse. Denise a parfaitement communiqué avec nous lors de la réservation. Le Mas est très confortable, la cuisine est parfaite pour préparer des mets de qualités ! Les chambres et lits sont très bien équipés. La salle de bain a bcp de charme ! Le salon est doté d’un pôel où nous avons fais du feu chaque soir pour se sentir cocooning ! Le logement accepte les chiens ! L’extérieur est super bien entretenu et exposé, nous avons déjeuner chaque midi en terrasse en décembre ! Merci pour ce moment réconfortant À bientôt Clara, Martine et Peter

Charmantes Haus am Rand von Saint Rémy

Wir hatten zwei schöne Wochen in dem gemütlichen alten Haus am Rand von Saint Remy. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und solide ausgestattet. Der Ort ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in der Provence wirklich ideal.

Erkunden der Alpilles

Bei wunderbarem Wetter konnten wir den Garten und den Swimmingpool voll auskosten. Das Häuschen mit eigenem Garten ist sehr idyllisch. Wermutstropfen sind der verstopfte Ablauf beim unhygienischen Spültrog und sehr einfache sanitäre Anlagen. Perfekte Lage.

J'ai séjourné avec ma mère de 83 ans et nous avons passé un séjour très agréable, nous avons adoré et pourtant nous avons l'habitude de la Bretagne. Le mas est un peu loin du centre ville à pied surtout au retour du marché mais à vélo c'est idéal. la maison est située juste à côté du canal des Alpines, on peut faire son jogging et les promenades avec le chien sont incroyablement agréables avec les champs d'Oliviers, les chevaux etc... La piscine est petite, c'est une piscine-bassin mais c'est bien précisé dans l'annonce et néanmoins c'est un vrai régal de se baigner. Que du bonheur Le plus est la gentillesse du propriétaire, Eric, qui vous met à l'aise dès votre arrivée. merci beaucoup. je recommande. A noter que les chambres et les toilettes sont à l'étage, la montée n'est pas facile pour une personne âgée.

Sehr gemütliches Haus am Rande von Saint-Rémy

Das Haus und der Garten sind sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Es gibt mehrere Sitzgelegenheiten draußen, allerdings nur 2 Sonnenliegen. Die Küche ist urig und hat alles was man benötigt. Wir haben das Haus zu zweit bewohnt, aber auch mit 4 Personen wäre es als Familie sicher gut gegangen (sofern man 2 Doppelbetten akzeptiert). Das Kinderzimmer im Dach wäre nur für kleine Kinder geeigent, da sehr niedrig. Der Pool ist klein und für seine Größe recht tief, so daß man auch 2-3 Züge schwimmen kann. Für heiße Tage eine ideale Abkühlung. Wir waren Anfang September dort und hatten bis ca 17:30 Sonne am Pool. Das Grundstück liegt an einer Kreuzung direkt am Ortseingang. Die vordere Straße nimmt man kaum wahr. Die Schlafzimmer gehen nach hinten raus. Nur das Bad im 1.OG geht zur vorderen Straße. Die seitliche Straße hört man zwar, ist aber nicht viel befahren und die Wagen fahren selten und recht langsam. Wir haben bei offenem Fenster gut geschlafen. Lediglich einmal haben wir recht früh die Müllabfuhr gehört, die auch die Seitenstraße befahren ist. Für uns war es ein idealer Standort, um von hier mit dem Rad nach Saint-Rémy reinzufahren, oder auch Radtouren und Wanderungen zu starten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!
