The overall property is dated, but they have tried to maintain the outside and the grounds so it looks better than it could. We were here during COVID so lots of nice to haves, like chairs at the pool, were not available. The property stacked all the chairs in the pool atrium area and were just shoved in versus neatly stacked or stored elsewhere. Parking at this property is a joke. We had to leave a note on a car once that parked in our spot, but she parked in our spot because a truck kept parking in the no parking zone behind a group of 3 cars and if all 3 of us were there we couldn't back out. Perhaps parking is well communciated from the HOA to the residents, but I don't think all renters got the same communication that they only had one spot. The HVAC broke the third evenining into our weeklong stay, however it barely worked the two days prior. The property management company handled the situation beautifully and moved us for the rest of the week as it was going to be multiple days before the unit was fixed. My complaint is that this unit was clearly old and on the verge of breaking and should not be back on the rental market until it is properly replaced. I would recommend to anyone staying here that they verify the unit has been replaced before they rent it. The actual townhome itself is exactly like the pictures on the website. It's perfect for a family of four or less, but no more. It's dated inside, but it's clean. The road construction at the intersection of East Causeway and Demere Road, where a roundabout is going in, leads to a lot of daytime construction noise and occassional traffic snarls. However, that is out of the control of the owners or proprty management company. All in all we had a great trip to St. Simons, but would not stay at this complex again.
