Lots of space for all

We brought our adult daughter and grandkids and had a great time here. Lots of space for everyone and TVs in every bedroom. The view of the beach is wonderful and easily accessible. Very clean and well appointed. Biggest downside, but oh so minor - no vegetable peeler in kitchen.

Such a great getaway

Shiphouse 1 was perfect for us. We have four teenagers that like a little independence and staying at Shiphouse 1 allowed each of us to determine when we wanted to enjoy the beach, hang at the pool or head into the town square for a cup of coffee or a little shopping. Carey at Hodnett Cooper was so easy to work with. Her communication was so consistent and thorough we never had to worry about not being prepared. The property was beautiful and clean, and it had everything we needed for a week's stay. St. Simon's Island is a beautifully manicured island with a good mix of full-time residents and visitors, old stately properties and newer builds, and enough amenities without being overrun. It was a sweet, restful week for all of us.

Great place, super close to beach. Easy access. Just wish there was some kid accessible washes for getting in the pool after the beach. Great place. Would go back

Amazing Oceanfront Escape

This was a great get away for me, my wife and our 5 month old son. The living area and kitchen had an amazing view of the water and plenty of room to relax. We could easily access the beach and enjoyed the proximity to the restaurants and shops. Highly recommended!

Perfect for our stay

Loved the layout and decor, had everything we needed. Great location on the beach with close by adorable small town feel shopping and excellent restaurants. Very clean and very nice, perfect side for 2 families of 4 and 2 grandparents with the kids in the bunk room. Loved st simons island also! Great stay for spring break!

Gorgeous inside and out!!!

We had a girls trip here and it was incredible!!! Carey and James were the best hosts. The place is gorgeous and the water views are unbelievable!!! I would highly recommend this place for everyone.

The place was wonderful beautiful view, very relaxing

I was in saint Simmons island before in 2018 and had a great time , this visit surpassed that , will be coming back again and hopefully staying at the ship house again 👍🏼
