“This place was awful. The elevator didn’t work and has been out of service since Dec according to people who LIVE there. It would’ve been 50 steps to get luggage up to the 2nd floor and there’s no way for people in their 70’s to get them up. There is no staff there as you’re given a code to get into your room. One code didn’t work for one of the rooms, and the other room’s door was wide open. I called the number provided to ask for a refund as we couldn’t get to our rooms and we didn’t feel……

“This boutique hotel is located in a odd neighbourhood of Golden, away from restaurants and other amenities, and in a semi-industrial part of town. However, if you get a room that faces the river and the mountains, you will have a fantastic view from your room. Our room was facing the opposite direction and although we had a view of the mountains too, we also looked into a industrial warehouse and yard which was not as pituresque.
The check-in process was straight-forward and communications……

“The hotel room is large and clean, with a microwave and small pantry and cutlery. However the bathtub is a bit small comparatively. The hair dryer needs to be requested from the office but the opening hour is until 10pm so it will be a bit troublesome if you arrive later than that. Also you may be hearing noises from nearby rooms so consider if you are sensitive to noises during your sleep.”
