“While the room was adequate, but it seemed that it hadn't been deep cleaned after painting/ decorating. (Large tub of filler still in the cupboard.) Dust behind the tv and on the table lamps. No Instructions on where to take the rubbish, (happened to bump into a cleaner who told us where the bins were. )
We were not told that the restaurant, shop ect were closed, and that building works were taking place during our visit.
Only blinds at the windows which didn't keep the room dark. Could have……

“We stayed at the Lodge and Lantern for one night, and loved our stay. The owner provided excellent service and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Hotel was quiet and the room had an incredible view. Would love to stay again!”

“The room was a pleasant surprise. It had a big jet tub that was awesome to soak in. There was no resturant but they offered breakfast with eggs and toast. Coffee and juices. (This area they could definitely upgrade a bit) and the worker paced bavk and forth like a caged animal. Felt very uncomfortable. Nothing was refreshed in the time we sat in the designated room.”
