River’s Bend Ranch’s largest accommodation, the Bunk House, features 10 bedrooms—each with a private bath and most with balconies—and can sleep up to 20 guests with a mix of twin, queen, and king beds. It includes a cozy living room, a fully equipped kitchen, TV room, and a large banquet space, perfect for corporate meetings or family reunions. Linens and kitchenware are provided. Enjoy mountain views from the decks, a hot tub under the stars, plus a fire pit and gas grill with firewood and propane supplied.

On the ranch, guests can enjoy fishing, birding, and walking trails. Trail rides along our piece of the Shenandoah's South Fork are available to guests and the general public, and can accommodate any riding ability. RBR offers something for all ages and interests, with convenient access to Luray Caverns, Skyline Drive, the charming town of Luray, hiking trails, kayaking, canoe rentals, and more. Kids (and adults!) will love meeting our farm animals, including sheep, cows, chickens (and sometimes baby chicks!), horses, barn cats, and our friendly, attention-loving dog.

During inclement weather such as snow or ice you may be required to have 4 wheel drive or tire chains. We also recommend Travel Insurance during winter months. We do not give refunds for road conditions that are out of our control.

This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $2500 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $59 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.
