「Maya Heights Village is absolutely EXCEPTIONAL! I traveled alone for my birthday and I felt completely safe. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable at all times, including changing my cabin when there were Wifi issues. Ingris, the lead coordinator was AMAZINGLY kind and attentive at all times. She was so sweet, even having a surprise birthday banner and cake set up at dinner when I arrived! 「Luv this place! Cabana was cozy, bed was excellent, all utensils one needs in the kitchenette. Reuben from Maya adventures picked us up at airport, helped us get the water jug n case of beer and helped us get the code for key lock. Clean beach, excellent water to go swimming in. We walked to all the shops, restaurants. Earplugs supplied for sleeping as the dogs might wake you up. Was not a big deal for us. Three ceiling fans and standup. 「This island is AMAZING! Everything from the gorgeous water, snorkeling, kayaking, well appointed cabanas, friendly staff, to the phenomenal food! My husband and I really enjoyed our relaxing vacation. We love that it wasn’t a party atmosphere but a laid back and enjoyable one. We had the island to ourselves most of the time with day trippers only staying for part of the day. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique getaway suitable for lovebirds or families!」

「The cabin was just as described. Well cared for by the care-takers Antonio and Dena. There were a lot of birds, and we saw Red-Lored Amazons among many others. Being near the river, and in a fairly dense forested area, there were mosquitoes and no-seeums. The large screened porch was a great place to enjoy the wildlife. A good BBQ was provided, the cabin was very large, and the a/c worked very well. All in all, a great stay. Recommend.」

「Miss Kay's cottage is wonderful, as is Miss Kay herself! Perfect location on the most beautiful beach, and an easy 5 minute walk to a dozen good bars and restaurants. I stayed for 3 peaceful and relaxing weeks, reading books on the porch, swimming, kayaking, walking, snoozing in a hammock. Picture-perfect vacation!」

「We loved our stay at the Banks. Check in was easy. The house is fully equipped with everything to make your stay most enjoyable. You wake up to birds chirping. The closed in veranda made for enjoying the outdoors without the sand flies. Our fishing boat came to our door for pick up and delivery. The use of the kayaks was a bonus. Would have used the fishing poles provided but they need longer fishing line. We will definitely look at coming back.」

「If you want to disconnect from the outside world then this is the place. We loved our time here with Dustin, Kim, and Ama. The food Kim prepared was some of the best we’ve had anywhere and the company during our stay was delightful. We snorkeled before breakfast on our own around the island and after breakfast Dustin and Ama would take us on kayaks to a reef off one of the neighboring islands where we found conch, and other fresh fish and seafood for our meals. We had an absolute amazing time!...

「Excellent place, new,fresh, clean, stylish. Up on stilts so you get a nice breeze. Just as pics appeared. Only real concern is that the driveway is sandy and taxis got stuck repeatedly. Just needs some gravel. Had a little trouble contacting the property manager to work out an early check in but staff were friendly and helpful.」
