「You can't beat the proximity to the trails. The room looked like it had been well maintained overall. We alerted staff to an issue with water seeping up through the carpet near the sink when the cold was turned on. The door stuck so I had to jam my shoulder against it to open it. The biggest issue I mentioned to maintenance and the front desk is the automatic 2nd door when you walk into the building closes fast so it would violate disability regulations and upset anyone carrying bags....

「The staff barely wants to work. The rooms were remodeled but the motel was to cheap to replace the old tubs and shower faucets. There was years old stain in the toilet and shower faucet was too worn out to activate the shower. The rooms and bathrooms were way too small; we felt cramped the whole stay.」

「This cabin was 100% the cleanest and nicest I’ve ever stayed in. Adorable, had everything needed for a comfortable stay. 」

「Basic older hotel. Could use some sprucing up (wall paper peeling, no tub stopper, etc. Nothing major.), but fine for an overnight stay at a resonable price. Comfortable bed and friendly staff. Breakfast was basic cold cereal, bagels, and fruit (no hot or prepared foods like eggs and bacon). I wouldn't honeymoon here, but I would stay here again if I needed a place to lay my head.」

「Absolutely perfect place for a gorge getaway! Check-in could not have been easier and the owner was super friendly and gave us all the information we could need in advance so when we got there it was as simple as putting in the key code and unpacking our stuff. The cabin is small but doesn't feel cramped and it's so charming and cute plus the outdoor areas are well-maintained and extremely peaceful. My wife is already trying to plan our return trip!」

「Stay was okay. Building was clean and everything worked well. Location was much further from red river gorge than expected, about 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes one way to a trail. Bed was very hard. Hot tub was nice. Overall, decent if you dont mind the sleeping conditions and the drive but for us it wasnt worth the cost 」

「i stayed in this cabin to enjoy hiking in the gorge. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities needed for the term of my stay. Checking in and out was very convenient. Communication with the host was very accommodating. It was a bit of a drive each day to and from my hiking destinations but i would not necessarily allow that to hinder my decision to return to this cabin in the future.」
