“We really enjoyed our stay at Linda's river house. The house itself was very clean and a had a beautiful view of the river running behind the house. We came up for a weekend of golf and there was no shortage of great courses nearby. Linda was a very accommodating host and had several suggestions for food in the Rockford area. We really enjoyed the small town atmosphere and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet weekend away.”

“This was a good little house that holds a lot of people. The owners were super responsive and respectful. We extended a couple days and they were cool with it since nobody has it booked afterwards. The location was good, we met some neighbors with dogs, everyone and their animals were friendly too. We will definitely book again if we get back up that way.”

“Pictures really dont do the scenery justice. The house itself was beautiful as well. The kids really enjoyed the game room on the lower level. Had issues with the VRBO app, which wouldnt allow me to respond to messages, so hopefully the owners see this so they know how much we enjoyed our stay! Will be back in the future when rhe weather is warmer to utilize the lake!”

“Very relaxing Girls weekend! Great views, clean property, loved the set up/space. Supplied with necessities. Beach area needed some Spring clean up, but we enjoyed the amenities down there. Enjoyed the paddle boat the most! The long Stairway to lake was quite a hike for some of us!! Overall a great pick!”

“We took a few days for a girls trip just to get out of Lansing for awhile. This was the perfect rural getaway! The scenery was breathtaking after the snow storm and I felt like I was in a magical little cabin. The furniture was cozy and comfy, the place was clean and so super cute and charming. We can't wait to come back in summer so we can properly enjoy this little lake house AND the lake!”

“There was plenty of room throughout the home and had everything we needed. The residence sits on a quiet course where we spent much our time grilling and watching the locals golf. Communication was excellent, the owners are very sweet and thoughtful. We absolutely loved our weekend stat and would highly recommend this place over and again.”

“We loved our stay at the very large lake cottage! We had a cousin getaway with 12 people. It is super well stocked with literally everything you could ever needed. The host was so helpful and great communication. The only weird thing was there wasn’t any checkin or out instructions so it was a little unclear with expectations. But over all a wonderful 5 star stay!!!”

“I stayed with family (6 adults, 2 children), in early spring. Given the time of year we had cool temperatures and some rain but none of that affected how much we enjoyed our stay. The home is beautifully decorated, clean, and all the rooms and bathrooms were comfortable and well appointed. The open floor plan and big table and couches let everyone be together. A highlight for me is the outdoor space with great views of the lake off the gated deck and a big yard with tons of wildlife and cozy a……
