The excellently equipped cabins are set amongst lovely gardens on a well-kept 20-acre working property that boasts wonderful birdlife, wallabies, a friendly steer and his zebu pals, roaming buffalo, and a gorgeous little donkey. The two cabins are well spaced apart and positioned so that you virtually cannot see each other on the decks. “We had a great stay at the Butterfly Farm! Chris the owner was a delight, food at the restaurant was delishious and fresh, and it was close to all the attractions around Litchfield. The property looks a bit dated, but it was still clean and comfortable. ”

“Quite an oasis in remote Batchelor. Rooms were very clean, nice new bathrooms, plenty of space. Even a very appealing pool to use. Great location close to Litchfield NP. Staff were lovely but felt they were still in training….lots of little errors. Breakfast and dinner meals were fine and well priced. Wifi was dreadfully slow….use your hotspot instead. ”
