Great get-away with a view of the Northern lights

The cabin is weell-equipped, very clean and well-maintained. The hot tub is very relaxing. There is a great view of the river and mountains. We actually saw the Northern lights early one evening from the upper deck!

Beautiful cabin

Such a beautiful place with everything you need. Unfortunately we were able to stay only one night due to a family emergency. The view is stunning! We loved walking down to the river. We will definitely be back.

Perfect Stay!

We loved the Dogwood cabin. It was perfect for our friend float trip weekend. Everything was clean and had all the needed essentials. Close enough to town to visit grocery store and restaurants but also in the country setting. We used Kickin’ K floats for our float trip and it was great to end at the cabin property and not have to drive after a day of fun on the river. We also stayed at the Sassafras cabin which was within walking distance so perfect for our group of 10. Will definitely stay here again.

Family Vacations

My family had an amazing time on the property. The Riverview Pavilion was a great place for the family to hang out we did some line dancing barbecued and had music. They must have is the golf cart rental this was super cool we were able to ride down to the river accesses and explore the farm a little. The host were amazing people everyone was real friendly and helpful.

Great place for a family getaway.

Great location close to Steelville. Great Pavilion for your use on the riverside accessible by with a all wheel drive car or a steep walk. Easy access to floating near property.

Beautiful secluded property

My family of four stayed here for a couple days around the holiday. Property was well kept and secluded. We had a relaxing time. Loved the hot tub and the river was a short walk away. Wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature.

Amazing! So peaceful and beautiful. Absolutely loved everything at the dog wood cabin. The best river spot. Very friendly people. The cabin is decorated perfectly. Will be back for sure.

Easy Getaway

This is one a few cabins on an active farm property and is a nice getaway. Summertime might be best with the river access and riverside play/chill area. Fun idea would be to rent all the cabins and invite lots of friends.

Amazing house and amazing views

Our family stayed at this cabin as a weekend getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hot tub was perfect. Also, our day on the river was excellent. We booked through Kickin Ks. They were very accommodating and so reasonably priced! Thanks for the recommendation !!!

Nice Property

Property is as described. Nice launching point for day float trips. Kitchen has essentials, but as with all rentals, if you are picky about cookware and kitchen tools, bring along your favorites from home. Hot tub was great, view were lovely, and the river pavilion area as an awesome amenity.

Family float trip

This place is fabulous! Even though there are neighboring cabins we didn’t hear them. Always felt safe and loved the hot tub after a day on the river. Nieces said the beds were great and best sleep they’d had in a long time. Communication is great also. My GPS gave us a wrong turn but it was a quick response from the owner that got us back on track.

Beautiful Oasis

Such a beautiful home with plenty of space for myself, husband, 4 older children (teenage & young adults), and 2 infant grandbabies! We absolutely enjoyed our stay and took total advantage of the large kitchen to make large home-cooked meals. The hot tub, deck & fireplace were also great for all of us to spend the extra relaxing time just hanging out and enjoying life! So grateful for the opportunity to stay at this property! Great view, plenty of clean, open space, peaceful and a lit of privacy! Couldn't ask for more!!

Great Place! Short walk to river

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. It is a pretty great location, while not exactly on the river as stated it is only about a 300 yard walk down hill. The farm dog, Cinderella, was concerning considering she was all bones. It was really unfortunate to see such a nice animal so severely underfed. Their is a beautiful cold water spring/cave right around the corner down river. Overall we had a great time.
