We enjoyed the wildlife, and explored Luray caverns and some of the Shenandoah mountains. “Beautiful quiet location. Very close to the forest, but unfortunately there is a large stream that runs across the trail that leads to GWNF. Otherwise, a nearly perfect place! The host's communication was great as well. We enjoyed the pool table (can be table tennis as well), and the variety of hikes a short drive away. “This cabin was very comfortable and clean! The kitchen was well equipped for all our needs. The views from the inside are just as spectacular on the outside. While the house is not directly on the reiver that was okay. We figured it would be hard to find a house right on the river with amazing views of the mountains off in the distance. The walk down to the river is not bad. It takes about 7 or so minutes. I highly recommend boots or something other than standard shoes if you go before the dew……

“Property was great when we were there, the only thing that was a bummer was I think the pool pump was back flushing in the middle of the night. I think it was on a timer At 2:30 am and ran for a long time and we had to shut the windows because of the noise of running water.
