“We had the best time! Everything we needed to live in this awesome river retreat was on hand from kitchen appliances, glassware, fluffy towels, comfortable beds and board games! The river view was beautiful and there are abundant opportunities for fun in the water. We brought our own tubes and a blow up kayak. We did enjoy some nearby attractions - hiked to a local waterfall, tubing in Helen and the Georgia Mountain Coaster. It was a wonderful long weekend away from home. ”

“This property's location is second-to-none, right in downtown Clayton with all the shops and restaurants right outside the door. Within 15-20 minutes drive of Black Rock Mtn State Park, Tallulah Gorge State Park, and picturesque Lake Rabun. For four adults, seating in common area was generous with plenty of bathrooms along with spacious bedrooms and larger kitchen. Beds were a comfortable medium-firm, linens soft and comfortable. “What a great house and great location. The check-in process was very easy, no issues what so ever. The house was full stocked with items to make your stay seamless. The kitchen had anything you would need to cook, plenty of towels and wash cloths for your bathing needs, and lots of games and books to play and read—there is a great one on the history of Clemaon Football. “We really enjoyed our time at this home. Although the house is small, it is very clean and comfortable. They have thought of everything, including plenty of hooks to dry towels or bathing suits, a nice welcome book with any information you may need, and a very well equipped kitchen. The best part was the outside space and dock. Our boys (and us!) enjoyed jumping from the second story of the dock, and we never could make it to the bottom to touch! “We had an amazing vacation at Lake Keowee Retreat! Nicole was quick to respond to all of our questions and one minor issue we had was resolved with a repairman on-site in an hour on the weekend!! The house was perfect, and exceeded all of our expectations. Much fun was had swimming at the dock, fishing, and boating. Many hours were spent on the top porch enjoying coffee, the breeze, and evening cocktails. It was everyone’s favorite hangout spot! I can’t think of a single thing I would……
