“This cabin was just as listed. We had everything we needed. The ponds were great, my kids loved to be able to fish. We had a great time. The owners were great and very responsive. There was a pretty bad storm that came through and they were quick to get the trees moved from the driveway so we could get out. I would definitely recommend.”

“We had a peaceful and relaxing weekend. The house was well stocked with pretty much everything you might need. We fished off the dock and caught a wide variety of fish, but we had better luck and caught larger fish in the evening. A huge storm came through and the host kept in contact to make sure we were ok. We ended our stay short because of the county wide loss of power but definitely plan on coming back.”

“Raccoon Retreat was the perfect place to host our yearly Memorial Day weekend trip. The house is located close to the marina for launching our boat and the bar and grill was within walking distance. The house came stocked with anything you'd need for comfort. We had a party of 12 and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. Will definitely be back!”

“We came to Tennessee so my husband could go hunting and me and the children could relax and hang out. This cabin was perfect, we could walk to the lake, the kids loved being outside and playing, it was well kept and updated. I would highly recommend them and stay there again.”

“Pros: The property was very nice and as described. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and move around freely. We spent a lot of time playing pool and cornhole. The heated concrete floors were a nice touch. The rooms were large as were the bathrooms. The decor was cool and made for great conversation. The kitchen was amazing with plenty of storage space. Con: The showers are RV showers and were a little tight if you are older or have a little size to you. This……

“My family and I were looking for a nice relaxing getaway and we sure got it. This was by far the best trip we’ve ever taken. Not only did we enjoy our stay we found a new home away from home. This place is so peaceful and quiet. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The owners were very nice and welcoming. They make it a very easy and effortless experience. One of the nicest things is we had no cell service so we got to detach from all stresses of life. The only disappointing part of……

“We enjoyed everything about the cabin. It had all we needed to cook and grill, and with campfire logs onsite, we enjoyed our time with the outdoor bonfire. The lake and newly opened Marina restaurant were also fun. I will come back again.”

“My family had so much fun staying at the cabin. We enjoyed a very nice Easter weekend. Perfect yard for an Easter Egg hunt for the little ones! Spent the days on the lake fishing and nights by the camp fire. The home had everything we needed. Cathy was very responsive and check in was very easy. Quiet area with plenty of woods, even the dogs really enjoyed it. We will definitely be back!”

“we had a wonderful visit. everyone was very friendly and the resort had a good vibe. You could tell the couple that run this place, enjoy their job and made us feel welcome. When we arrived there was pork butts slow roasting in the smoker and a nice fire in the fire pit. They were catering to a group of hunters and showing them a good time. There is an old fashion Ice Cream making machine on the deck that we did not get to see in use, but will on our next visit. the photos of our cabin are……

“We booked this for the weekend of Sept 29-Oct 1, 2023 to see our son who is attending Murray State. The property was well kept up and very clean. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The pictures and description of the Tiny House (as they called it) were true and accurate. The pool was very clean and it was located right across from us but we did not get to use it. They have everything you would need to just stay for a quiet weekend get away. The view from the deck was a beautiful view……
