「We had a great 3-night visit to the Lighthouse. The house was well equipped and ready for our arrival to just settle in and relax. Easy walk to the beach and wildlife to view right off the back deck including deer, rabbits a racoon and coyote. Thank you to the hosts for a pleasant home away from home.」

「My friends and I wanted a quite little get-away and that is exactly what we got! There is a little bit of road noise, but we were able to ignore it for the most part. The house was prefect and we spent most of our time outside on the patio. The fire table is great and the hot tub was nice to relax in. The frogs after dark were a special treat and we also got to see ducks, geese and a huge banana slug! Only thing that could have made it better was a place to take a nap outside! We can't wait to...

「Spacious and comfortable for 5 adults. Even though the house was cold when we got there, the wall heater did a great job heating the main room. Beds (including couch bed) were very comfortable and they provided lots of blankets. We enjoyed hanging out in the large kitchen and playing one of their many board games! 「This beautifully-aged classic house must be one of the originals. It has definitely stood the test of time, and has been well-maintained and restored over the years. The view out over the ocean from the open-beamed living room, while enjoying a glass of wine in front of a gently crackling fire, evokes the spirit of the best of Sea Ranch. The house comes very well stocked, especially the kitchen, where a good cook can feel right at home. Truly a delightful place to spend a few relaxing days.」

「The house is lovey! When we arrived they had not warmed the home it was quite cold inside. The jacuzzi never worked even after we called and Jake came out and assured us he was familiar with the issue! The water remained frigid and the jacuzzi was unusable. Jake was a very nice guy but still no jacuzzi. There were also spider webs in some cabinets and windows.」

「The property is set on a picturesque spot in SeaRanch. Beautiful ocean views. The home itself has lots of nice and unexpected touches (amazing water pressure, oyster knife, dog blankets). It also had a few cost reducing pieces that ranked it down a notch for me (one ply toilet paper and paper towels, super thin cloth towels). 「This home is stunning and exceeded our expectations. Views are amazing from the home and the walk to the cliff is perhaps 2 minutes and the beach just a few minutes more. The area is serene and at most you see a few joggers or a couple other people hiking. The office was a perfect place to take a few morning calls before a lovely breakfast on the beach. We didn’t cook a full meal (we picked up chowder and crab sandwiches in Bodega Bay to bring up with us), but the kitchen was well appointed...

My ONLY negative, which is no hindrance to a return visit, and accounts for the 4 star rating on "accuracy of online listing" is that the accompanying photograph suggests an on-the-bluff location and view for this "ocean view home". Such a view does not exist from this home. A more accurate photograph is recommended. G.S.」

「We live in an SF cabin, built of redwood in the months after the 1906 quake, and this place felt very much like a summer vacation version of home, even though we were traveling in February! 「Ocean knoll is a great destination to enjoy the amazing beauty of the northern Sonoma coast. The location is amazing with incredible views of the wide open ocean. It’s close to the golf course, great hiking trails, the Gualala Point Regional Park and the town of Gualala which has some great restaurants as well as an excellent grocery store. The house is extremely comfortable and very well stocked with just about anything you could need in the kitchen. We look forward to our stay every year.」

「We have loved coming to Stoney House the last several years. We have always been comfortable in the house and happy with its amenities. This year there were a few issues on arrival. All of the Adirondack chairs were either broken or off the cliff. Bottlecaps and tin foil all over the yard. The master bath door has fallen off the hinge. There was dog urine on the master bedroom curtain (We washed the curtain and rehung it) It was windy and stormy and water leaked through the upstairs slider doors...
