"I really enjoyed my stay here and I will come again. Cathy and Deanne were very helpful and pleasant. Charlie made great fires in the fire pit each night and monitored the s’more supplies to make sure we had plenty. My room had a coffee maker with plenty of coffee and tea selections. They had coffee in the lobby too. They provided a generous breakfast: Slow cooked oatmeal with all the additions, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, muffins and English muffins with all the condiments. Coffee and juice. I probably forgot something… I was impressed! There are restaurants about a mile away, As well as a nice Safeway. Main Street bistro in Guerneville had good food, great service and fun live music. It is fairly close to the coast and about 25-35 minutes to the coast and much less expensive. Duncan Mills Oscara good place with fun shops to check when going to the coast too! I’ll be back!"

"The Gualala Country in is a real gem. I am a 78 yr old woman traveling alone and felt extremely safe. Upon entering the room on arrival, I felt like I was a guest in a friend's home. I loved the electric fireplace with flames "burning" in the corner and the simple country decor. Everything seemed clean and new. A young woman, Daniella, greeted me at check-in and invited me to sit across from her at a small table as we completed the registration process; much nicer than standing at a formal, tall counter. One of the nicest things was the sparrow's nest under the edge of the roof with mama bird and chirping babies that greeted me at the top of the outside staircase. I had a wonderful, quiet night's sleep on a very comfortable bèd. Wish i could have stayed longer."

"Beautiful property! You have access to the trails right next to the ocean and it was the prettiest walk I’ve ever been on. The rooms are well designed with convenience in mind - remote control lighting, outlets, B&O portable speaker, etc etc. The staff are also super friendly and helpful. Will return to this property anytime :) "

"Amazing location and a lovely hotel! Balcony to enjoy the sun, view and the crash of waves. Everything clean, well designed and beautiful- we needed the fireplace and the hot tub after walking the beach in cold weather. Great breakfast. Slept like a rock!"
