“My family and I had had the most wonderful stay at Stronachlachar Lodge. The house is ABSOLUTELY stunning, with picturesque views from almost every window, and being directly on Loch Katarine. It is so peaceful and despite being so big, it is incredibly homely. “Gemütliches und gut ausgestattetes Cottage in zentraler, aber sehr ruhiger Lage (kein Verkehrslärm). Wir haben es als Basis für Bergwanderungen in der Gegend verwendet. Bei dem schlechten Wetter waren wir dankbar für die Zentralheizung, die das Cottage sofort mollig warm bekommen hat, und auch für die Waschmaschine. “This is a beautiful property, tastefully modernised in a very tranquil setting in the forest. Our experience was not typical due to power outage for 30hrs also affecting the water supply. Some suggested I should seek a small refund but none was offered and it was not directly the owners fault so I did not pursue it although a gesture would have been kind. The main issue and disadvantage is the locked gate and forestry road access. Timber harvesting was ongoing during our stay so the road surface……
