「Great welcome and house was perfect for family trip」

「The house was a great base for a family get together and had plenty space to spend time and beautiful local walks. Unfortunately the Brig o Turk inn was not open during our visit but we found alternative eating out options in Callander. 」

「Beautiful house, perfect for a weekend with all the family, plenty of parking space for two big cars. The access road is a wee bit rough and narrow, but we managed fine, just take it slow. 「This is a beautiful property, tastefully modernised in a very tranquil setting in the forest. Our experience was not typical due to power outage for 30hrs also affecting the water supply. Some suggested I should seek a small refund but none was offered and it was not directly the owners fault so I did not pursue it although a gesture would have been kind. 「Lovely house, full of character in an amazing location. Good facilities and easy parking. Insides are beginning to need a little TLC as they are a bit dated. This did not spoil our trip though. Great comms with owners throughout. The rear garden gate was locked which was frustrating as it would have been good to come in this way for muddy dog and boots ! 」
