“Beautiful house, perfect for a weekend with all the family, plenty of parking space for two big cars. The access road is a wee bit rough and narrow, but we managed fine, just take it slow. The decor is stunning, modern, bright and airy, with underfloor heating which was amazing in this cold weather, with an open plan living room, kitchen, dining area, with a log burner The kitchen is well equipped and the dining area has a large wooden table with eight chairs. “This is a beautiful property, tastefully modernised in a very tranquil setting in the forest. Our experience was not typical due to power outage for 30hrs also affecting the water supply. Some suggested I should seek a small refund but none was offered and it was not directly the owners fault so I did not pursue it although a gesture would have been kind. The main issue and disadvantage is the locked gate and forestry road access. Timber harvesting was ongoing during our stay so the road surface……

“Lovely house, full of character in an amazing location. Good facilities and easy parking. Insides are beginning to need a little TLC as they are a bit dated. This did not spoil our trip though. Great comms with owners throughout. The rear garden gate was locked which was frustrating as it would have been good to come in this way for muddy dog and boots ! ”
