“Glad and Kenny gave us a really nice welcome when we arrived even though it was late. They showed us round the property which was absolutely spotless. When it was light the next day we could see the lovely garden over breakfast. The house is in a secluded part of the garden. Really enjoyed our stay as we went into Durham for the day. We will definitely visit again. ”

“Lovely property overlooking the North Sea. Well equipped kitchen, en-suite shower room and separate bathroom. Need to provide your own towels and toiletries. We have stayed here several times and the check in and check out procedures are simple with great communication from the hosts.”

“We had a great weekend staying in the Essex lodge. I found everything to be as described on the website and the hot tub was perfect. Some nice little touches with the sports equipment on the field and the walk in the woods is a hidden gem, well worth the effort. Overall a good area to visit with plenty to do.”
