“Although only 10 minutes from Stonehaven it was ideally situated in the beautiful Kincardine countryside. Room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was whatever you wanted and the bonus for us was that the plum tree in the garden was groaning with fruit. Owner picked some delicious plums for us. If we're back in the area well certainly consider Crawfield Grange as the #1 place to stay. ”

“Loved my stay at Ferryhill House. The staff was lovely, and the pub restaurant was great. Loved having a drink outside on their patio. I hadn’t realized breakfast was included which was a nice surprise. My room was clean and spacious, the bathroom was especially nice and up-to-date. I walked back to the hotel after dark from the bus station solo and felt perfectly safe. Just a note: It is an older hotel and there isn’t an elevator. “Very friendly and welcoming staff. Room was very comfortable and clean and had an iron and ironing board in the wardrobe. A great hot breakfast, which was buffet style. Arriving back very late from a wedding reception, snacks were available near the front desk. The location of this hotel is excellent for onward journeys and there is good parking.
