Very clean and comfortable room! The lobby was quite nice and although the breakfast was “meh” and the staff almost invisible (apart from the nice breakfast person), I would recommend this place without any hesitation

Love the decor! Beautiful, modern, common areas. The buffet breakfast was good - coffee, yogurt, fruits, nuts, bagels, boiled eggs and more. The location is fabulous - right next to the Stowe recreation path. The staff were great! On the downside, the carpet in the room was dirty/soiled - likely being replaced soon after the beating of the winter season. All in all - we'd go back!

Always love when we stay here. Great boutique hotel.. love decor and areas for lounging with cozy fireplaces. Rooms are spacious for what we need on a ski trip. Breakfast is always great too with fresh fruit, homemade muffins, yogurt with all toppings. Perfect before hitting slopes. This is our 4th time staying here when we visit Stowe

I really enjoyed my stay at Field Guide Lodge. The living area is beautifully designed—spacious, stylish, and very comfortable. I especially loved the furniture and overall vibe.
The morning coffee and afternoon hot cider were such nice touches, and breakfast was wonderful. The room was spacious, and I really enjoyed the bathtub—nothing compares to a hot soak after a full day of snowboarding!
The location is great as well—I loved having The Bench restaurant just across the street. The front desk team was also very responsive and helpful throughout my stay.
I would definitely come back!

Hotel was cute and as advertised, queen deluxe room was spacious and had an amazing soaking tub but some of the remodeling details of the suite are subpar. Minimal issues such as gaps in the entry door allowing light and sound from main hall, awkward bathroom layout, dirty exterior windows. We came during off/mud season so this may be why but staffing was super limited, bar closed early at 9 on a Saturday, breakfast was very limited (bagels and mini quiche), offered no drinks other than water/coffee and unattended to the point we had to alert staff an outlet circuit went out and food was cold / toaster not working. Common areas atmosphere was great and would have been a bonus if staying longer than one night.

The property had a nice and cozy feel. Certainly not what I expected, but pleasantly surprised. Very clean. The pool and hot tub were out of order butcwe had a nice sized soaker tub in our room that came in handy after skiing. Stowe mount is about 10 minuyes minutes away so very convenient.
