At Fjellsætra, you’ll experience the authentic cabin atmosphere with peaceful surroundings, green mountains, and plenty of space to truly unwind. The cabin is small and functional, with all the amenities you need, and it’s just as nice to stay here in summer as it is in winter.
Inside, the cabin is cozy and practically furnished. Everything is in its place without feeling cramped, and it’s easy to settle in, whether your stay is short or long.
From the cabin, there are hiking opportunities in every direction. You can walk along the old pipeline route down toward Fausa and on up to the shelter at Nakken, which offers views toward Stordal and down into Storfjorden. The hike up toward Blådalen offers opportunities for fishing in the lakes up there, and Fausateighornet provides views inland across the fjords toward Geiranger.
In winter, the cross-country ski trails are groomed 150 meters from the cabin, and you can strap on your skis right from the door. The ski lift is five to ten minutes away. Summer offers cycling, mountain hikes, fishing, and swimming, and randonné hikes are possible both during the day and in the evening.
