We stayed one night before catching the ferry on Geirangerfjord. Great room and nice meal at the hotel restaurant. The staff were very nice.

Town of Stranda nothing much to do here, hotel is under renovation but fully open. Yuhan at the front counter was help full. Very good breakfast and parking on site.

The room was too small for 3 people. There wasnt any fridge in the room which was really disappointing. Our window view was towards the parking which was not pleasant. Staff was helpful and pool and breakfast was good, but otherwise would not recommend.

Nice breakfast, awful beds

On the plus side. Breakfast was superb. Negative: The springs in the beds are probably 10 times or more past their lifespan. Feels like you're gonna roll out of bed any second and way to soft. No working ventilation what so ever. So, bathroom will not ever dry up. I guess that’s why the cleaning staff uses detergent Health hazard. Reception staff (one of them) completely clueless on pretty much any thing related to tourism or driving a car in the area.

very unpleasant stay

We had a very unpleasant stay at Dreges Hotell. We were surprised to see upon arrival that nearly 70% of the hotel’s exterior walls were under repair. There was no mention of that during the booking process. The exterior wall of our room was completely covered with scaffolding, blocking the view from the window. There was noise in the room from people working when we checked in at 3:45 pm. They started working at 8:15 am the next morning (hammering and electric saw cutting directly on the building’s exterior walls). We had planned to sleep late before a 6-hour drive back to Bergen that day. And as if the stay was not already a nightmare, a maid made a room mistake, entered our room abruptly at 8:00 am, slammed the door, and woke us up. It looks like a big renovation work. We were there on June 26, 2025, and it seems like it will be ongoing all summer long. Be aware if you plan to book this hotel during summer 2025.

Hotel coqueto y con encanto. Nos gustó.

Es un bonito hotel con habitaciones algo pequeñas. No tienen aire acondicionado y en verano se pasa calor. Tiene buenas instalaciones y una piscina con sauna que es espectacular. La ubicación es buena. El desayuno muy bueno y el restaurante tiene un menú caro pero está muy bien. Nos atendió en el restaurante, un gallego genial, Juan. Buen recuerdo.

Eit fint og godt hotell ved fjorden på Stranda

Alt i alt har me vore godt fornøgde med hotellet og opphaldet vårt her, men eit par faktorar trekte ned det samla inntrykket: Nokså kaldt vatn i bassenget (grunna ein teknisk feil), og både skuffande utval og for høgt prisnivå på matmenyen i restauranten. Det kunne òg med fordel vore eit lite kjøleskap på hotellrommet.
Ei stor og veldig god seng fekk me, og rommet var fint.

Tout a été à la hauteur de nos attentes. Un petit bémol car il n’y a pas de petit réfrigérateur dans la chambre. Un grand merci pole lave linge et le sèche-linge gratuit en libre service. Petit déjeuner excellent, bien fournis et varié.
