“We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful house. It was spotless, instructions about the property were clear and easy to follow, the owners were incredibly responsive to all and any requests and, the location, of course, was to die for!”

“Good location but the lack of sound proofing from neighbouring property was a detractor. Fine for a short stay. ”

“This house is dated for sure (in the best way imaginable). The detail was endless, everywhere you looked there was something new and exciting to discover. Then once you get past the decor, the views were spectacular with floor to ceiling windows on both levels in room after room. Watch the ships come in and out of the shipyard was fun, especially at night. Would stay again 100%. ”

“We were up at Waimarino to ski for the week with our two young children, the house was a perfect little bolt hole when weren’t on the mountain!Our only issues were that while there was a log burner and wood for it, unfortunately the wood was all rather damp and there was no way to chop any smaller kindling to even get the fire going, thank goodness for the heat pump, so we were all sorted! Also the Freeview box lost signal on our last night, but no biggie, we were all ready for an early night by……

We loved getting away from it all in Awakino. Just enough to do and not to do. The view / location was ataahua. Beautiful place in the world. Thank you for sharing this place. ”
