"Delicious menu on offer, to supplement the great buffet. Enjoyed the decor/ambience of the breakfast room. Perfect location and the host gave spot-on nature, history and shopping suggestions. Loved our Pheasant Suite too. "

"Nice hotel. If you want a tv you need to have a room on the second floor but who needs a tv nowadays when there is WiFi. Very comfortable bed and lovely big bathroom."

"We had an excellent stay at this beautiful hotel. The room was particularly clean and comfortable and the shower was just amazing. The overall decor of the hotel is beautiful, with exceptional attention to detail. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was cooked to order and was excellent. "

"A lovely hotel with delicious food and a beautiful, peaceful setting. You should stay here.
We stayed in a little stone cottage separate from the hotel an easy 5-minute walk up the hill. It used to be the dog kennels. In fact, the low stone walls topped with iron fencing that served as the two outside pens of the kennel are still there, as are the doggie doors -- tho’ these are firmly closed. A pair of French doors open onto a very large walled garden, which we had to ourselves. It's the...

"What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!"

"What a beautiful place to stay at a prime spot in the Speyside area. We loved our breakfast every morning. Dinners at both the Spey Inn and GEMAIR were wonderful too. The walking trail is a must attraction if you stay here as well."

"Can’t say enough good things about Muckrach Country House.
The home is absolutely gorgeous. Our room was stunning. We had absolutely the best nights sleep of our whole trip!
More importantly Donnie and the staff are the sweetest people!
We only got to stay one night but wish we had more time to stay. Absolutely book it, you won’t be disappointed."

"We loved staying at the Leslie Castle. John & Nicole were great. We came by train and then planned to go by Uber to the Castle and found the one driver was on holiday. John & Nicole were so gracious to come and pick us up. Food was great. Nicole does a history of the castle after dinner each night which was so enjoyable and a tour of the castle. Our room was huge and we loved every minute of it. We walked to the little Hamlet of Leslie and met some of the locals. The weather was great...

"Reception area & bar area were lovely. Bar staff were excellent as was the bar food.
We were VERY disappointed in our room in the Annexe. It was extremely small with little space to move between the beds. The Annexe itself was more like a hostel!
We couldn’t believe that the room would not be serviced during our stay!
The corridor leading to the Annexe was not cleaned for several days.
The swimming pool was beautiful & the staff guy on reception was very nice.
Our Grandson was very disappointed that the football park was not opened & in a state of disrepair.
It was also disappointing that food stopped being served at the Funhouse at 4.30pm & the activities closed at 5 pm at Woodhouse. All in all, especially the room, we feel that we are due some reimbursement for our stay. In anticipation!"
"Enjoyed my stay at the Balmoral Arms, hotel is in a convenient location for visiting Balmoral. Room was clean, there is no on site parking but we had no issue in finding free parking. All staff were helpful and friendly.

"good staff, good sized and equipped room, bar and restaurant well presented. Food was very good, really tasty both for dinner and breakfast. Be prepared for no lift if you have a lot of luggage, but is onlyover 2 floors."
