Lovely small hotel on the outskirts of Stresa. Never had a breakfast offering with so much fresh fruit/delicious ! Nice balcony overlooking the islands. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. Couple of minor points- Shower could do with being re grouted/sealing as a bit brown and the sun beds are at the stage for an upgrade. Just minor points and didn’t detract from our lovely stay.

My friend and I stayed for five nights at Hotel Flora and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is situated outside the central part of Stresa, and is a lovely 15-20 minute walk into town along the lake promenade, and is close to both the train station and a nearby bus stop, making it a convenient location to have as your base for travelling around the area. The breakfast provided each morning has a wide variety of options to accommodate various dietary requirements and was a great way to start each day. What really makes this hotel special is the staff. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming - especially the three ladies at the reception desk. All of them always took the time to help us with our questions, provide directions or other information; and genuinely seemed happy to see us each day. They are a true asset to the hotel and our stay was more memorable because of them. If we are ever lucky enough to be in this area again, I would definitely return to this hotel.

The staff were exceptional and always so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ample and delicious and the breakfast staff also extremely friendly. Beds extremely comfortable and rooms extremely quiet. Slightly out of town (about 15 minutes) but I liked walking to town and back along the waterfront after dinner. Going to the islands was extremely close - just down the hill. Great stay!!

Very nice hotel. It's not too far from the town about a mile. Booked 2 single rooms. Room was quite small but adequate. My friend had a slightly larger room with a small double. Staff were lovely nothing too much trouble for them. Breakfast had a good selection. Would definitely stay again but would probably upgrade to a lake view room. Celebrated my retirement and hotel provided a bottle of wine with sweets

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The views across the lake were exceptional. The breakfast was extremely good and the staff were excellent, in particular Bea who assisted me with some queries. Although we experienced a couple of minor issues these were rectified expediently. We would definitely visit again.
