Lieux idyllique

Cet appartement situé à Soméraro au dessus de Strésa est à coupé le souffle .Vous avez une terrasse dans l'appartement très grande abrité avec une vue sur le Lac Majeur qui est juste devant les Îles Borromées ; c'est extraordinaire !!.L'appartement est très propres et les matériaux de très bonnes qualités .La gentillesse de Dana est pour beaucoup pour que tout se passe très bien .Adresse a recommander !!

Bella Lago Maggiore

If you are looking for an awesome and quiet stay to explore the area of Lago Maggiore, this apt. is definately a great spot. Within minutes you can reach the city centre of Stresa and Baveno. The view on Lago Maggiore is amazing. The apt is a lovely renovated 3 room apt with enough space for our family with 2 teen boys. We enjoyed the sun terras both in the early morning and late afternoon. The sunrise over the mountaintops is a must see (in july around 6 in the morning). The balcony is on the east, so you will have sun till mid afternoon. After that the balcony has some nice shadow which keeps the sun out of the apt so its nice and cool, although the airconditioning was werking perfect. This place is a keeper for us, because there is much more to explore.

Der Ausblick ist hervorragend. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, wir haben lediglich zusätzliches Besteck und größere Tassen vermisst.

Stilvoll eingerichtetes Apartment mit grandiosem Seeblick

Sehr schön eingerichtete, sehr saubere und gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit grandiosem Seeblick. Man braucht ca. 10 min. mit dem Auto nach Stresa. In Someraro können wir das Restaurant Cardini empfehlen.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

Giuseppe's place was the perfect home base to explore Lake Maggiore and the surrounding area. The apartment was very well appointed and, like the others before us, we spent quiet mornings and evenings taking in the stunning views from the terrace drinking coffee and/or wine. The restaurants within walking distance were lovely, our favorite being La Rampolina, a 15 minute or so walk from the apartment. Giuseppe was extremely nice and helpful, and was available for any questions we had about Stresa and the surrounding area (and even with questions about our car). Thank you again for such a wonderful stay, Giuseppe!

Excellent accommodation

We stayed here for six nights at the start of our holiday in Northern Italy. Communication with the owners was excellent and Dana and Guiseppe were very helpful throughout. On hand if needed, but otherwise we were left to our own devices - which was perfect. The accommodation is excellent. The location is clearly the big attraction - the views over Maggiore are stunning, but we would highlight general accommodation quality. Super clean and everything felt fresh and of a high spec. We used the kitchen a lot, and had everything we needed. Eating on the balcony of our room was always a pure pleasure. We used the BBQ a couple of times - quite an experience cooking and eating with views across the lake. The communal area for sunbathing and eating is very nicely done and very clean - much better than we have seen in other similar places. It was also very quiet while we were there. We didn't walk into Stresa - but always used the car. That's a shame, but you only get the views by being up in the hills. We did use one of the restaurants in the village, which is a few minutes walk and a more than pleasant place to dine. Would be very happy to recommend. It suited us (three adults) very well.

Très belle location, les photos reflètes le vrai. Emplacement super avec vue magnifique, accueil parfait, tout est vraiment bien et nous y retournerons. Stresa est un très bon emplacement pour découvrir le lac. Merci encore aux propriétaires.

Dana hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Ihr Haus ist ein herrlicher Ort der Entspannung. Der Blick auf den See ist atemberaubend. Die Wohnung ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und hoffen auf eine baldiges Wiedersehen. Grazie Dana

Fantastic views

We had a wonderful week with spectacular views. The apartment was beautiful and we had a very relaxing time there. Although you need to drive to get to the town centre of Stresa, you can find free places to park there to explore the town or do a boat trip. Highly recommended.

Traumhafter Blick über den Lago Maggiore

Wir bewohnten das Apartment „Nord“ und waren Mitte Mai (2019) dort. Um es gleich vorneweg zu sagen: Der Blick aus der Wohnung und vom Balkon auf den Lago Maggiore ist traumhaft und kaum zu überbieten. Am schönsten war es morgens in der Sonne auf der überdachten Loggia zu frühstücken. Von den Borromäischen Inseln sieht man vom Balkon die Isola Madre komplett, die Isola Bella zu 3/4 und die Isola Pescadore zur Hälfte. Von der großzügigen Sonnenterrasse, die allen Gästen zur Verfügung steht, sieht man sogar alle Inseln komplett. Leider haben wir diese erst am vorletzten Tag entdeckt. Die Wohnung selber ist schön, gut eingerichtet und wir haben uns schnell eingelebt. Das Bad ist recht geräumig, bietet ausreichend Ablagefläche und hat eine gut funktionierende Dusche. Leider gibt es kein Tageslicht und die Lampen sind für ein Bad (zum Rasieren, Schminken usw.) leider nicht hell genug. Ein besonderes Manko haben wir empfunden, dass es keine deutschen Programme im Fernsehen gab. Gerade wenn man in einem Apartment und außerhalb von den Zentren wohnt, möchte man am Abend doch etwas fernsehen können. Hier waren Guiseppes sofortige Hilfsbereitschaft mit Programmsuchen leider auch nicht erfolgreich. Wir haben uns dann mit Mediatheken auf unserem Tablet beholfen. Hier muß jeder deutschsprachige Gast für sich selbst entscheiden, ob er damit zurecht kommt. Besonders positiv an der Wohnung ist zu erwähnen, das sich die Zimmertemperatur gradgenau einstellen läßt. Will oder kann man auf dem Balkon nicht zum Essen nutzen, kann man auch gut in der Küche an der Theke sitzen und hat den gleichen traumhaften Blick auf den See und die Berge. Die Betten sind angenehm fest, allerdings muss man sich eine gemeinsame, große Zudecke teilen. Die Wohnung ist etwas hellhörig, so dass wir manchmal andere reden und Türen zuschlagen hören konnten. Direkt am Haus gibt es ausreichend Parkplätze und je öfter man auf das Grundstück ein und ausparkt, desto besser klappt es. Unser Gesamturteil: Die Wohnung ist auf jeden Fall eine gute Empfehlung, wenn man auf deutsches Fernsehen keinen besonderen Wert legt.

Beautiful setting

The apartment is nicely furnished with fantastic views of the lake and mountains. A car is a necessity due to the location high on the hill but the location is the reason for the view. Some turns are pretty tight but it is all worth it. An excellent venue.
