"Arrival was a bit confusing: getting a taxi was a small challenge (number posted by phone didn't work). Only one other challenge - finding the Cell number for the host buried in fine print/not obvious in the VRBO! "My family and I rented 2 apartments from Carla for 1 week. Both apartments were perfect for our stay on the lake. Amazing views and perfect location. Very close to the ferry terminal and bus stops for easy travelling. 5 mins walk to large selection of shops and restaurants in Stresa and brilliant kids playground. Carla was a delightful host and met us kindly at the bus stop for our arrival. Highly recommended. Many thanks Carla! x"

"This house has some great spaces. The decks are wonderful. Parking space is adequate. Location is close to the center of Stresa but not walkable. There were some problems. The house could have been cleaner. Spiders and spider webs. The 2 bedrooms on the lower level were musty despite the dehumidifier that was running constantly. The bathrooms and kitchen on the lower level had mold. There are no screens on the windows. A microwave and hair dryer would have been nice."

"Beautiful roof top apartment with spacious terrace and gorgeous view of lake Maggiore. Parking was available on the street by the entrance to the building. There is no AC and it was hot in August, however we enjoyed our stay very much. Walkable distance to the ferry and the center. Highly recommended!"

"We enjoyed our stay in this property. We are a family of five and there was enough space for all of us, and the two bathrooms were very welcome. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. It was also very handy to park outside. The views over the lake from the outside terrace were lovely and made a great place to eat. It was extremely hot when we stayed (35C during they day, and 30C at night) and there were two fans provided which were very welcome. It would be even better if there were three...
