“This hotel looked much better on the internet than in person. It had a very funky smell from the moment I entered the lobby and this scent continued into our room. It was like someone was trying to cover the smell of weed with another strong scent. Anyway, I arrived very late at night and this was just a stop for the night to get some rest before continuing on my voyage. Had this not been the case I would have 100% asked for a refund as soon as I arrived and stayed at one of the adjacent……

“I had a great stay at Holiday Inn Youngstown South. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall experience was very pleasant. I appreciate the good service and would definitely consider staying here again. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.”

“Stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bath suite for one night. The space was clean, and the staff was friendly, and it was quiet. The facility is in a great location and is near everything we needed (grocery store, pizza places, restaurants, etc.). The kitchen was well appointed, and if we would have wanted to, we could have cooked anything we wanted. I will stay there again if I need to be in that area in the future.”

“No complaints or issues. When I checked in, the kid (and he was definitely a kid) said he’d put me on the floor with the “good bathrooms”. Not sure what that meant, but it was the 4th floor, and I guess it was a good bathroom — walk-in shower, functioning exhaust fan, lighted mirror, shower amenities, etc… Solid place for the price. Several spots close by for food, gas, etc… Highway access for getting there and getting gone was super close.”
