“My four-night stay at Hotel Don Ernesto La Chimba was wonderful, highlighted by the friendly staff and the absolutely excellent breakfast spread. The location is incredibly peaceful, tucked away in the jungle yet conveniently just 30 minutes from the airport. While some reviewers highlight that the rooms aren't Ritz-Carlton quality, I think it is important to note that the prices certainly reflect that, and the hotel offers tremendous value for an authentic and relaxing stay.”

“This boutique hotel is an experience. Its romantic ambiance is perfectly suited for relaxation, romance, or reflection. It is a photo op enthusiast’s dream—“gram” worthy. I wasn’t expecting the visual feast when I entered the lobby. The pictures you see online in some ways don’t do this lovely gem justice. As the sun travels through the sky, it is only in person that you may appreciate the sun’s warm rays kissing the cozy nooks throughout the property. The hotel is alive, and it breathes in……

“I arrived later night, the front desk person was called by knocking the door to process my room. Unfortunately they said there is no king size bed which I paid for. I had to sleep since next early morning had meeting,so no time to complain for 2 queen beds. Next day I asked again for king size, they changed my room to king size room. The room is good, only One noise of window. Other then that 2 issues, everything was perfect.”
