Great family vacation with plenty to do!

We enjoyed our stay with the kiddos, family and friends. There was plenty to do on site and we didn't need to leave, which was exactly what we were looking for with the age of some of the kids in our group. We'll certainly be back!

Great Family getaway

Family Vacation

Our family (12 adults, age 25-78) stayed at Countryside Estate in April 2024. There was plenty of room for everyone and a lot of fun things to do in the house. I highly recommend this property.

Overall was good . Only exception was one dishwasher didn’t work and one refrigerator didn’t work. Repair man came out and said compressor was not working and recommended a new refrigerator.

Family Weekend at The Pool Haus

Our family group of 17 had a fun Father’s Day weekend at The Pool Haus. Rooms were all clean and large enough to accommodate many people. The game offers many choices, and was well used, especially when rain spoiled our plans for a bonfire on Saturday evening. The pool area and items in the adventure shed are also a great asset. I recommend this place for any larger group outing.

Excellent place for large family weekend away

The house was ideal for our group of 24 - it had plenty of bedrooms for our extended family to sleep in, room to spread out and relax if you wanted, and we all enjoyed the abundance of things to do for all ages. The kids loved having the indoor pool as an option and the parents really appreciated that it was a separate locked building so that the littles couldn’t get in unattended. We also really appreciated not needing to pack cribs, toys, and baby gear for the babies in our group. We did leave the property once for some nearby hiking, but with all the fun onsite, there was no need to go anywhere. The kitchen was a nice cooking space and having the second fridge and two dishwashers worked out perfect as we cooked several meals over the course of our three nights’ stay.

Wonderful stay for family celebration

The accommodations were amazing and very appropriate for our 16 adults and 2 littles. The options for gaming and swimming and using the great supply of action items gave us many options as well as the opportunities in the area. Our 20-month old had fun in the playroom and the play area outside. She learned how to climb unusual steps to get to the slide. We also enjoyed the fire pit two nights. Great family time. The living room and tables gave us room to eat and play games together. And we could walk to the bay - or drive, of course.

Incredible Stay with Large Group

My partner and I planned a bachelorette/bachelor party with our best friends. This location was absolutely perfect and had a wide range of things to do on the property for people with different interests and personalities. We didn't have to leave the property all weekend and had plenty to do. The rooms were comfortable with large beds, the house was spotless and decorated well. There were so many fridges and storage - and the house was stocked with toiletries and kitchen items. I would recommend this house to anyone planning any sort of group trip! One hundred out of one hundred stars from me.

Amazing!

Our group of two extended families (14 adults and 6 kids) have been renting a weekend getaway for over 15 years and the Pool Haus is our absolute favorite! There was so much room and so many on-site activities that we never felt crowded. We made full use of everything - the pool, basketball court, sauna, game room, theater room, kids play room & garage that was filled with outdoor games/activities. The house had everything we needed to make great meals and enough room for all of us to eat together. The entire group reported that the the place was super clean and the beds were comfortable. Can't say enough good things about the place and our host Emily. She responded to all of our questions ahead of our visit and couldn't have made things any easier for us to check in/out. Definitely an amazing place and well worth checking out!

Spring Break 2024

This property has absolutely nothing missing. Our kids and grandkids had so much fun. We had so much room with all 20 of us. The beds were amazing. Furniture was super comfy. The 3 bedroom house on the property was enjoyed by our son and his family. The basketball court was so nice and maintained. Of course the families all enjoyed the pool and cried when they couldn't go for a swim the morning we left. Even though the weather wasn't all that great we didn't care because the house had so much for us to do inside. Also, last but not least, Emily was such a sweet host. I even told my husband that she sounds so kind and sweet. Thank you! Sherry

This place is even more amazing when you see it in person. The property is luxurious!! Amenities are top notch, they left nothing out. So relaxing and comfortable. Family Vacation 2025

Our kids and grandkids stayed at the Pool Haus for four days and seldom left the property there was so much to entertain them. The pool, basketball and tennis court were huge hits. In addition, they rode bikes and skateboards, and had a bean bag tournament. We had plenty of room to spread out so the older kids had their privacy when they wanted a break. The lower level with a movie theatre and game rooms were fun for all ages. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms are perfect for a large group. We hope to return soon!

Excellent house

Excellent house for large groups. There are many amenities to keep you busy and a huge fire pit. Only drawback is it is not suited for ADA. We made it work though. Suggestion would be a ADA accessible bathroom and one entryway with a ramp. It was NOT advertised as ADA however. We loved staying there and our host Emily was fantastic! We would stay there again.

Family reunion, 4 generations on one property

Perfect for a friend's getaway!

This venue is an idea place for a large group. The number of bedrooms made it so all could have their privacy while staying together with plenty of common space to enjoy each others company. The pool was a highlight of the property, but the billiards, dart board, shuffleboard, and video games provided endless entertainment for us as well. All technology was easy to use and plug personal computers into to enjoy activities and entertainment. The property was everything that it says it is and more! We are excited to schedule our next trip to the Pool Haus!

Great family getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the Pool Haus. So much to do at the house as well as all the great places in Door County. The weather didn't cooperate enough for us to enjoy some of the outdoor elements of the property but the incredible pool house, game room, and overall size of the house gave us unlimited options for fun and activities. We will definitely be back.

Amazing Home

Awesome

This place was awesome. We had a great time with our family up there. The place was very clean. There was plenty to do, even though that the weather was cold outside. The grandkids enjoyed the pool and the arcade games and the rest of family enjoyed Just being together.
