Beautiful log house in a great location on the water!

The property was well maintained and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to be on the water.

Really beautiful house in an amazing location! We loved the kayaks and SUPs and the bonfire ring. Inside, the house was beautiful, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The only improvement needed is in the kitchen - not enough of the right cooking and eating utensils. But otherwise everything was great!

Perfect Getaway-Spacious Home

My friends and I did a getaway weekend here and it was the perfect amount of space!! Beautiful property, the stairs down to the water are very steep and there are quite a few of them. We loved that there was a little bar/restaurant just a block away! Great fish fry there. They supplied everything we needed and the HEATED FLOORS were a huge plus!!

Great stay!

We had a great stay at this beautiful house! The view is incredible! We enjoyed time with the kayaks and paddle boards. The kids also enjoyed the games in the basement area! Beds were comfy, house was stocked with everything we could have needed. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Beautiful, picturesque and serene

Beautiful cabin on Sturgeon Bay was the perfect place for 8 siblings to reconnect. From enjoying the sunrise, fishing, touring the area and nightly campfires. We highly recommend considering for your next family vacation.

Amazing view, amenities, and location!

There were 4 couples that stayed in this cabin for 3 nights. We had an amazing time. There was plenty of room for everyone without feeling on top of each other. They had everything we could need! From pots, pans, tupperware so you didn't have to throw out food, and games (lots of games!). The cabin was clean and ready for our stay without any hiccups. We visited several wineries and distilleries during our stay. It was the perfect location and nothing was too far away. We would absolutely stay here again!

Ice Fishing Perfect Spot

The Idlewild cabin is a perfect and well stocked cabin for an Ice Fishing Trip to the Little Sturgeon Bay area. The game room was a nice added bonus to the weekend. The shuffle board table is in good condition. The pool table just needs a new cue ball. Otherwise the cabin was comfy and the perfect location to the area.

Perfect getaway

We loved our time at the Sherwood lodge! The view was amazing and there were so many fun activities to do on the property! We enjoyed playing pool, biking, sitting by the indoor fireplace and by the pier. Even able to do a little kayaking. Emily was great and very responsive! Perfect Guy's Weekend Getaway

I rented out Sherwood Lodge for a long weekend getaway with my brothers, dad, and some buddies. It was perfect. The property is outstanding, the cabin is very spacious, and the amenities they provide are better than anywhere else I've ever stayed. Several kayaks, fishing poles, paddle boards, bikes, and many other things to help make the stay even better. I'll never stay anywhere else when I come up to Sturgeon Bay!

Great Cozy Getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at Sherwood Point Lodge. Nice and secluded and stunning views. The house is set up so nicely and worked great for our family. The space has EVERYTHING you'll need and made traveling with little ones easier. Also so nice that they provide things such as coffee, laundry detergent, toiletries etc. Great, great space and we can't wait to stay again!

Vacation with a view.

Sherwood point Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. Amazing view, wonderful comfortable cozy place to stay with tons of fun things to do! The pier is awesome, and we enjoyed relaxing on the point with the view! It is close to great things to do in and around sturgeon bay. We did not want to leave!! We will definitely be back.

Amazing Vacation!

What an amazing cabin! Indoors was luxurious and spacious, with room for everyone to find their own space while also allowing many different places for everyone to convene. And the secluded outdoors -- including a private rock-ledge beach -- was phenomenal. Close enough to stores and restaurants for easy access yet also a feeling of seclusion. A perfect place for a getaway!

Gorgeous view

The property is right on the lake and we had a gorgeous fall view. Enjoyed drinking coffee on the pier and nights spent gathered around the fire pit. Kids enjoyed the downstairs game room and the property accommodated our large group. Owner was very responsive to any issues that arose during the stay.

Excellent rental: Breath taking views of the bay ! gorgeous and unmatched by any other rental ( i have coming up to fall in DC for over 50 Years! ). Completely stocked with everything we could have wanted/ needed. We will Def be back !! PS Don’t miss the local pub ( 5 minute walk from the place)- great to grab a stein of Leinenkugel with the locals and walk home👍):

Just wonderful

This was one of the best VRBO houses we stayed at. Great location, great house, great views, peaceful. Although we couldn't use them (due to weather) it was great to see the bicycles, and canoes. The kids liked the pool table downstairs. The kitchen was pretty and the coffee pod selections were very nice. Big thanks to our host.

Wonderful location and water view. A bedroom for each of us. Wonderful fire pit area . Incredible star gazing. Close to Potowatomi State Park. Eagles. Warblers. Fishing. Biking. Family pool tournament. Morning coffee on the enormous porch. So glad we chose this place!

Annual Fall Trip!

What a wonderful cabin! This is our second time renting from Emily and at this location. We all had a wonderful experience. Cabin has everything you can imagine. Wonderful sunrises , fully surrounded trees and nature. Fantastic views of the lake and awesome fire pit! Excellent accommodations. Cabin is spotless, clean and comfortable. Loved every minute at the cabin. Emily was the best host and we can’t wait to come back again next year. Excellent in every thing No complaints! Great communication! Clean and tidy! Awesome location!
