“This is the most beautiful location in the area! It is family friendly with all the necessary amenities to make one feel at home. The location is perfect for a day of adventure in Door County, and yet a quiet place to return to in the evening. I didn’t use the fire pit this time but it is a highlight at the end of the day to relax and watch the sunset. Absolutely gorgeous! I am looking forward to returning in the summer. ”

“This was our first time at the Lily Pad Cottage and we are already scheduled to come back next year. The cottage is a real gem. It is clean, cozy, and close to parks and to fun and necessary shopping. The specialness of it for us was the ability to sit, inside or outside, and watch the water and the clouds roll by, the sound of the waves and seagulls, an eagle and many other water-birds fishing right in front of the cottage.”

“Such a beautiful house for a bachelorette party weekend! The kitchen had everything we needed. The whole house had just a clean vibe. We loved all the decor and there was even fall/pumpkin decor in the house. Such a nice touch! The view from the windows and back patio were great. We were Able to see the sunset right over the water. “The home is gorgeous inside with stellar lake views; the only logistical issues are with missing silverware - not enough for a full complement of guests. We cooked often, made use of the charcoal grill, went canoeing with an assist carrying from one of the neighboring houses and bought firewood from a nearby stand but never did get out to light one.
