「Great hotel to stay at for business trip.」

「No AC. Not broken,just non-existent. Earwigs over bathroom door, plaster bits on bathroom floor, no toilet paper in room, no chairs at all, two throw pillows as sleeping pillows, nothing larger. Dilapidated building, car got scratched up while there, knocking and loud music until around 4AM. TV went on by itself at around 1AM, 2:37AM, and again around 3:30AM, at which point we unplugged it from the wall. 「The craftsmanship of the hotel is fantastic. The hotel Is beautiful and well laid out. The swimming pool and the hot tub are well maintained. The breakfast in the morning was a step above the chain hotels. I missed having bacon and sausage, but how many hotel breakfasts have thick carved ham on the breakfast buffet? We were given a room that had no air conditioning and when I told them they said they knew there was no air but they didn't have any other rooms! They finally found another room for us and then rebooked the room we were originally in with someone else before they cleaned it! We had laid on the bed, used the restroom but they didn't clean it before renting to someone else. Now it makes me wonder how clean the room was that we...

「They are working on remodeling. Staff are responsive to needs in the interim and very kind, but it's a bit like staying at a half-packed house mid-move. We stayed in one of their finished rooms post-remodel, and the room was great!」
