“Our whole visit was great. We got to town earlier than expected and were able to check in an hour early, which was awesome. The entire house was gorgeous and well laid out and maintained. The hot tub was the best after a day of driving and we put the kitchen to good use! Great location, very easy to find and right across the street from a nice brewery! Highly recommend! Host was available when I reached out and very accommodating. ”

“The tiny house was very clean and well stocked with kitchen and bath supplies. Close to the George Mickelson trail for some gravel biking, and also close to hiking trails. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. We enjoyed our stay!”

“We reserved this VRBO property thru Travelocity and that created communication challenges. Hosts bent over backwards to help with that. The dwelling was tight. We could not pass each other in the kitchen and the sliding bathroom door was less than 2 ft from the bed. The commode was just inches from the wall on one side and you had to sit sideways. It did not have a toaster as advertised.. we borrowed one. No paper towels or facial tissues. We bought our own. All that said, it was a superb……

The location was perfect as we came to the Black Hills to ride the Mickelson Trail and enjoy the fall colors which were spectacular.This house is in a great location to tour through the Black Hills. Its very clean, quiet, spacious for two. We loved it and would go back again.”

“Can't say enough about positive things about this stay, As someone needing a place that accommodates a pair of dogs, I couldn't have asked for more. An easily accessible yard coupled with a rustic cabin that is both comfy and pet friendly is not an easy find. We had another couple stay with us and we all appreciated the surroundings (beautiful neighborhood surrounded by parks great for both people and dog walking) and easy access to both the Black Hills and and the conveniences of Rapid City.……

“The listing mentioned a wood stove. After messaging them, we learned the stove, which we were looking forward to was recently removed. The snacks were appreciated, but there were past their expiration date by a year. Otherwise the experience was charming.”

The steps leading upstairs are very steep and narrow (because they’re original to the house), so if you have small children or limited mobility it would not be a good option, as the bedrooms are all upstairs. The location was excellent, kitchen great (table seats 4), and overall it was a very nice stay.”
