“This cabin is rustic but has all the amenities (plus some) of home. It is isolated but close to everything. It was great to explore trails and the Red Woods. Then come "home" to a comfortable cabin with warm wood stoves, soft beds, a cup of coffee/tea or a glass of wine. The hosts are great people too!”

“This house is small but the spaces have been thoughtfully planned to maximize efficiency. House is well stocked from the kitchen to the bathroom. The location is only a couple of minutes from the heart of Trinidad. Easy check in and check out as well.”

“There are only positives here. The hosts catered games and treats according to our child’s age. So welcoming. They were also gracious with other needs as well. Absolutely beautiful property. We saw whales and diving birds from the living room. We will be back! Thank you so much!”

“Gorgeous location, breathtaking ocean/ sea-stack views. Big west facing deck with great chairs & a roof protecting from all but the most blowing rains. Many coastal hiking trails, very close by. Cozy super clean room/bath, well stocked with lots of little extras. John is a most accommodating & wonderful host! Very available if you need him but invisible if you want privacy. Great Wi-Fi. Solar battery back up if the power goes out ( very common in these parts in winter). All the positive……

“This was just what my friend and I needed for a birthday getaway. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the view was amazing. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere but we were only about 5 minutes from town. The only reason I marked them down for cleanliness is because the dishes were dirty, there was food still left on some dishes. Also it was only 50° inside when we got there… I don’t know if they have someone check over the property before someone checks in but it would be nice if……

“It was a nice and different experience staying in the woods. Definitely not for people with kids under 15 as the loft and bedroom are in different cabins away from each other. The online description didn’t mention the compost toilet, which makes the pricing unfair. The price we paid was way to much for going through the hassle of composite toilet and the make shift Kitchenette. It was nice experience but not worth $ 400 + dollars for a night and the treehouse is just whatever. Won’t be back for……

“Great little cabin in the forest. The many cabins are near one another but it was very quiet. We enjoyed strolling amongst the big trees and driving the short distance to the little town of Trinidad. One note: no bathroom sink in our cabin, so all handwashing, teeth brushing etc. has to be done at the kitchenette sink. ”
