「We enjoyed our stay-all the comforts of home were included. We had one elderly but healthy family member with us. Since bedrooms were on the top floor and bathroom/living room were on the middle floor, I was a bit worried about the narrow stairwell for my dad. Other than that, the place was clean, convenient, quiet, and great for our stay in Japan. 」

「This house is in a good walkable neighborhood with decent access to shops and a train station. However, I was not advised that the host would take a substantial damage deposit at check in, a chunk of which is kept as an admin fee. The listing states “Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees,” which is misleading. Expect a long wait for the deposit refund. 「For a small space, there is is a lot of separation so people can do their own activities without really disturbing others. The house is on three floors - one bedroom on the second floor and one on the third. Host is super responsive. Very generous coffee and tea supplies, which we appreciated. The property is about a 5 minute walk from Koenji metro station; there is a grocery store next to the station as well as lots of convenience stores in the area. 」
