"This was a very nice hotel. The staff were amazing. Very friendly, very polite. I would rate this hotel a 10 on almost everything except I found that the rooms could be cleaned a bit better. The walls and ceiling were dirty the doors were dirty...needs to be wiped down properly especially since this is such a high-end hotel, and the vents and fans are full of dust like they haven't been cleaned for years. I was quite surprised. Also our first night there was a stain on the bed sheets and there...

"Very comfortable stay; location is perfect for shopping and for sightseeing— walking distance to a lot of eating places. Shinjuku Station is walking distance- for trips to Kamakura and elsewhere. The Shinjuku Bus Station is only 600 yen if you have luggage. Staff st the front desk are all helpful and kind. Simple amenities are also availsble. "The room was small as expected. However the air conditioning was right above your bed and keep blowing cold air into your face. We try to turn the fan down but doesn’t work. We end up has to turn the unit off. Location was great, walkable to shopping district and close to metro. Staff was very helpful and polite. The hot spring bath was very nice bonus. "
