1 year old hunter falcon, trained by Mongolian horseman. It can already hunt foxes and other mid-sized animals. The falcon was very friendly with people and played with children. During the opening ceremony of "Түмэн адууны баяр" he has quite a show bird by spreading his wings, gliding and showing some moves as if he was dancing.
"Түмэн адууны баяр, их төвөргөөн" if you roughly translates the name into english "Festival of 10,000 horses, great horse steps". The festival took place in Batnorov soum, Khentii Province, Mongolia. The place is famous for Mongolian horsemen and wolf hunter breed dogs called "taiga". This year over 2100 horses has gathered at Batnorov to celebrate the traditions of Mongolian horsemen.
