“Great, short stay at Mike's place. Cabin was cozy and had great amenities. Host communication was prompt and efficient. Would highly recommend.Two downsides:#1 - we couldn't stay longer!#2 - dogs across the street are kind of noisy...but that's not on Mike, just the nature of dogs.”

“First I’ll address the driveway.It’s steep, just as described in the description as well as comments. Our 4WD vehicle went up just fine but our other vehicle did not. It stayed safely parked at the bottom of the driveway. Some could consider that an inconvenience however definitely not a ruined vacation, especially considering all this beautiful property has to offer. This cabin is fully stocked! “Perfect place for my sister and I to stay while attending the MLB Speedway Classic at Bristol Motor Speedway. The owners are very attentive and responsive, and the cabin had everything we needed. “Wonderful stay! We enjoyed walking our dog by the river and on the well maintained grounds. We also enjoyed the beautiful view of the river from the balcony each morning with coffee. The Laurel cabin was cozy with everything needed to feel like home away from home. ”

The check in process was a bit odd, the cottages are not clearly marked, they had to guess which cabin was theirs and try their code. Otherwise, this place was perfect. Cozy, clean, and the hosts were quick in response and great hosts! ”

“Great place to get away to private surroundings. VRBO photos were accurate. Cabin was very clean. House well stocked. We did day trips to Blowing Rock, Valley Cruises, Banner Elk, and Grandfather Mountain, and swam in the swimming hole with waterfall that was a short drive from cabin that we found by asking a local resident for directions. We had a great getaway.”
