Listing is not accurate. Hot tub is dirty

I initially was just annoyed because the listing is wrong. There is no grill and the second bedroom is a double not a queen bed. This didn’t really affect our stay much at all. However, now I’m aggravated because it has come to my attention that the hot tub is/was not clean. It didn’t really seem like there were chemicals in it, but the water did not have a green tint which normally indicates something is out of balance. One of our friends ended up with a rash, which is due to a particular bacteria in the hot tub. There was not sufficient chlorine in the hot tub. Use at your own risk. That being said, the house IS cozy and comfortable. It feels like a time capsule in a good way. Michael was responsive when we had questions at check in. The property just needs a little attention and care.

Nice & quiet stay!

We just want to thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home. We wanted to take a couple days to isolate and relax. The hot tub was a nice perk too!

Comfortable quiet cabin

Loved the quiet location in Elkhorn. The fireplace was wonderful and the accommodations were fine but things could use some tlc- dated appliances and furnishings. The vintage toaster smoked in use and the gas grill had too much residue on it for our liking, so we cooked inside instead. Generally well equipped and comfortable for a short stay at a reasonable price point in Sun Valley.
