"Super nice and helpful owner operators typical of rural Iowa. If the shower is crucial to you my particular room had a pretty mediocre one, otherwise this place has a much more personal touch and friendliness compared to the more chain hotel options available. They also offer free snacks."

"The people here are awsome, attentive, and accommodating! Was here for about a week for business working nights. They left me be, unless I needed something, then it would get taken care. The owner was the best even in the mist of loosing her best employee to a onfamily emergency, there were fully staff with compitent people so I'm sure most didn't even notice. I'm def keeping this in my contact for the next time I find myself needing comfy pillow in this neck of the woods"

"It was nice and cozy!!! Though we weren't there much during the day, we did call it "home". It would've been nice to have better lighting towards the pond because it gets dark, dark out there. Otherwise very nice and peaceful!!"
