"Called in advance to request a lower floor; and the receptionist, Annabelle was wonderful: making sure that we got a lower floor room, and just being very welcome.
Hotel itself is a little dated decor wise, but is clean. Was very excited to find out the room had a little fridge in it. Perfect for a wee bottle of milk for my tea, and our water bottles.
Room was very warm so we slept with a window open: word of warning: it’s very loud well into the early hours: and we were staying on weeknights. I can sleep through anything so was fine: but if you’re a light sleeper: it’s not for you.
Perfect location: can access from the railway station. Just along the road from the Life Museum. Short journey to metro centre. And a walk to all main attractions (including the football stadium if you like that sort of thing)
There was a room service menu: we didn’t get anything from it: but prices were reasonable.
All in all, a good stay, and would stay again"
