We stayed 7 nights in September at this beautiful home. Very spacious and plenty of comfortable beds. The wrap around enclosed porch and water views were amazing. Most of our time was spent at the property and on the lake. Only the 4-year-old was brave enough for swimming though. Cool evening and warmer days were pleasant. We also enjoyed the local shops and Farm Stand. The cider doughnuts there are highly recommended.

Family vacation

A long needed get together ages 3 to 79. 3 generations had a great time catching up. Property was clean and as advertised. Very Happy we chose Sunfish Cove!

Our family had such a wonderful time at Sunfish Cove. The property is right on the water and the morning sunrises were the absolute best. There was plenty of room for our family of 8 adults, 2 children, and 2 dogs. The kitchen was spacious with plenty of room for everyone. The sunroom overlooking the lake was perfect for morning coffee and for just hanging out. We enjoyed many mornings/afternoons boating and exploring the Tacoma Lakes and also took advantage of the many kayaks and canoes provided for our use. Great property, cannot wait to come back!!!

Family trip

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was clean and the amenities were perfect. The kids had fun with all the games. The hosts responded quickly to all questions and had great suggestions for activities in the area. When we return we will be sure to stay again.

Great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The house is large and filled with charm. It was the perfect spot for our extended family of 11. The home is well stocked, and the hosts are very quick to respond to any queries. Most importantly, nothing beats that lake frontage. Fishing was good too- we caught trout, bass and perch.

Great Space in a Great Place

This was our second time booking this home on the lake for our annual ice fishing trip and it did not disappoint—very nice house and close to Grateful Grain Brewing, the local bait shop, and some stores.

Amazing!!!

We had an absolutely delightful stay at this vacation property! Everything exceeded our expectations – the place looked exactly as pictured, if not better. The well-equipped kitchen had everything we could possibly need, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Sunfish Cove 70th Birthday

Celebration of my 70th birthday was awesome. Sand Pond was frozen over and provided some great Ice fishing. The house was awesome and had everything we needed to make it special. Room for family and a couple friends. Watched the NFC championship games with room for everyone. I highly recommend this location for a family getaway.

Great spot for summer get-away

We loved the house and the big wrap around enclosed porches make it spacious! The lake is quiet and beautiful, the property is nicely private for a lake front home. The house clearly dates way back, but necessary updates and upgrades have been done to make it comfortable and much more of a home than a camp. Hope to stay again!

Fantastic!

Such a charming home! It was the perfect place for our family of 5 plus two grandparents. Everything was clean when we arrived and the kitchen was well equipped. We especially liked the front porch. And the lake is beautiful! We really enjoyed swimming and sunning on the dock.

Excellent trip

We loved the property. There was plenty of room for all our guests, and despite being older home everything was well maintained. There was also many things to do on property indoors and outdoors - videos, ping pong, foos ball, paddle boat, etc. I highly recommend for future vacations.

Perfect lake house

Beautiful house and property. Clean, well-maintained house with plenty of privacy and space for our multiple-family reunion to vacation in. Carl was very responsive and helpful -- thank you! We enjoyed the kayaks, hearing the loons at night, swimming in the lake. The kitchen was well stocked. Great experience!

Home owners are fantastic

They made our stay great! Super accommodating and helpful. House is cozy and comfortable.. house has everything you need… just bring shampoo and soaps as that wasn’t included. If we come back to Maine we will stay there

Relaxing Week…

Our family had a wonderful week at this amazing home. Beautiful view, huge house stocked with everything we could possibly need and loads of kayaks and other boats. Saw the loons each day as they swam right by the house. Owners are friendly and responsive. Highly recommend this vacation home!!!!

Family Vacation

We had a great time on the water with the Kayaks. We were there during a heat wave and the water provided relief. There is no air conditioning so we did our best with fans. The house had so many sitting areas and tables that worked great with our family for games and socializing. Carl and Jill were great hosts.

Thanksgiving gathering

A lovely, clean house with a peaceful view of the water, this was a great choice for a family gathering. We were able to seamlessly host Thanksgiving, with new appliances and so much already provided. The attention to detail and differentiated space made for a great flow. We also traveled with two small kids, and were easily able to adapt. Highly recommend this for a cozy winter space, and I can see how it would be a delight in the summer as well!

Perfection!

We had a wonderful vacation with our adult children and their families. The house was a dream for us. The big wrap around porch was a perfect place to eat, gather, play games and store our coolers etc. The sleeping arrangements were great.. and the she shed was a nice getaway. The waterfront was lovely and perfect for our boats and for the kids(ages 5-12) to jump off.

Amazing trip to Monmouth

This house was exactly what we needed for a northern getaway! We went with a total of 13 people and the house fulfilled our every need. The highlight,of course, was the beautiful location. Right on the water, the property provides everything you need to enjoy yourself.... including fishing gear, kayaks, and a canoe. We spent most of our nights outside enjoying the fire pit and the beautiful sunrises over the pond. Highly recommend this property.

Wonderful stay!

8 of us stayed for 3 nights to celebrate my parents 60th anniversary and spend some quality time together. The house was great, and had plenty of room for all of us. We especially enjoyed the enclosed porch overlooking the water, the game room, and the boats. We cooked all our meals there so we really appreciated the very well stocked kitchen with most any dish, or gadget you could want. There was an unexpected problem with the furnace but the host was very responsive and helpful in trying to get it fixed, provided extra space heaters, and graciously allowed us extra time for checkout for the hassle. We had a fantastic time here making wonderful family memories and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.
