Family Gathering

Quiet family retreat with better porch and outdoor hangout areas than most. Very good bedroom and bath setups for family gathering.

HORRIFIC! STAY FAR, FAR AWAY!

We arrived to house completely filled and overflowing everywhere with bugs, spiders crawling everywhere, and spider webs that attacked us as we walked through front door and down hallways, so house clearly hadn't been touched in quite awhile. Most of the "chandeliers" and the corners of the room had large webs. The master bedroom pillowcases and bedding had many large "wet-looking", "greasy" stains on the pillow cases and top of the comforter... it was disgusting. The plumbing ran outside of the walls, some of bathroom doors wouldn't shut unless you slammed into them with your shoulder, some walls literally would move if you leaned on them...!! We rent frequently and have never had such an awful home. The couch in the main area was stained in multiple places... It mostly looked good from pics, but up close was a nightmare and the spiders were unbelievable. It was all so ridiculous they could be allowed to rent to unsuspecting families. As we drove there, 5 min or so away there were multiple old mobile homes and many other run down properties everywhere, so it is in a very poor area. Just not at all what the pics suggest for the type of home and no where near worth the price per night. None of us felt safe to stay- we were all scared of being harmed by bugs in the night. We had nowhere else to stay last minute, so we ended up having to drive all the way back home at 11PM at night! Thankfully we found another property to move to the next day. Families please beware!!
